it's not about who has more fans. It's about how they TREAT their fans. 5SOS could've easily turned to their fans and thanked them for going all the way to the airport to see them or at least engage in small talk. Whereas the girls of fifth harmony willingly push their security guards away just to engage in a small conversation with their fans, there were a few times they stayed in the airport an hour or more extra to meet fans even though they had just arrived home and wanted to spend time with their families, and a few more times they went 2 hours earlier to talk to fans before their flights back home or to another state. They ALWAYS want to meet fans and talk to them. Brazil was an exception because they were forced to leave by a different exit but they were upset and crying over the fact that they couldnt meet anyone. They constantly made up for it by going out to their hotel just to meet fans every few hours. AND THIS is why I stan these amazing caring girls and not boys who think they're too famous to show even a tiny bit of respect for their fans, and before you bash me, I dont remember reading ONE incident where any girls of fifth harmony has ever neglected a fan

I'm an harmonizer and I don't really know 5SOS (I've only heard Amnesia) but I don't think this is a fair comparison... You can't say the girls are better idols than 5SOS members based on this video. The boys had like 5 times more people waiting for them than the girls
Lets look at it like this, Security Guards get paid to keep the band safe, that is their job. 20 girls are hardly going to do any harm, therefore Fifth Harmony had the chance to meet their fans, whereas, over 100 girls could do a lot more damage. The management that 5sos are under are fairly strict on meeting fans. They love meeting their fans t because there's too many of us, trying to meet them, all the time that it's not up to them, anymore. The only way that the comparisons would be fair, is if there's around the same amount of fans and then we can see. Rant over.

If 5SOS didn't care about their fans then explain how 5SOS remember the name of the fans that went to their very first gig. The only fair way to compare is to see 5SOS with a small group like Fifth Harmony had. You should see their meet and greets...and 5SOS even created a whole entire day dedicated to meeting fans at Derpcon. They literally paid for most of it and got to see fans from all across the world. They met fans, took pictures, signed stuff, hugged them, and talked to them.
I adore 5sos and 5H they BOTH care about there fans. But 5H really stood out to me, look at lauren and when shes talking to that girl in the blue sweater. Well i was reading that girls experience meeting Lauren and shes telling Lauren how she relapsed. Lauren is supporting her if you listen carefully you can hear what Lauren is sayinh to that girl. And i think thats beautiful

I think Michael was the only one who actually communicated with the fans out of all the 5sos. The rest just smiled for a selfie one after another and said nothing. 5h was so cute with their fans. They started talking while security was telling them to move and they kept on talking. Lauren was talking to the girl in the blue sweatshirt about how the girl self harmed and gave her advice. The girl cried and lauren wiped her tear. That's a true role model. Someone who actually cares about their fans! They even talked about the EMAS and lauren was telling the fans that "you voted your asses off and you should be apologizing because I love you". The girls took a bunch of selfies with the fans and started conversations. My answer is 5h ofc ❤️
I'm not surprised that people think that it looks like 5SOS doesn't want to be there with the fans but it's probably because they have said so many times how awkward they feel around girls but they Love their fans! They're literally alla about the fans and they've said that everything they do is for us. They're good people who's always nice to their fans but they also need their space. At least respect that!

I'm not a 5H fan, I'm obsessed with 5SOS but i think that 5H handle their fans very well. But you also have to keep in mind the numbers of people that show up for 5SOS compared to 5H. Im sure it would be the same thing if they had the same sized crowd. At the end of the day i think both bands are amazing with their fans. End of story.

Ok I am a full heartedly sauser but I say will say that fifth harmony is better with their fans but at the same time, most of that was their managers. You can't judge them on how they treat their fans when their management is there MAKING everyone stop taking pictures of them and getting their autographs. If fifth harmony had 5sos' manegment team they would have done the same thing that they did and vis versa. 5sos thinks of their fans as family because we helped them get where they are. You really can't compare these two situations. 5h are really sweet to their fans but 5sos are too. For example, one time 5sos were told that they weren't allowed to come outside the hotel and see the fans so they made little paper airplanes with cute messages on them that they threw down to the people waiting for them. There's plenty of videos out there where the boys stop and have private conversations with their fans. You can't really do that when you have 200 people surrounding you all the time. All I'm saying is that they're both insanely nice to their fans but you can't use this video to judge them because they are two completely different situations.

I mean it’s easier to connect when you’re not bombarded. This isn’t a a fair comparison but 5H is really loving. Especially that Lauren part. She’s an intellectual empath. Sis have a lot to say. Along with Camila. They’re always down have heart to hearts. And Dinah plays with fans like they’re friends, it’s actually really cute. Normani and Ally are really tentative also. You can’t hate them when you invest some time into knowing them.

fifth harmony are so sweet and kind and loving to their fans. i saw them once walking to get to backstage and a bunch of fans were there and the girls were blowing kisses, waving and saying hi and i love you and it was so sweet their all so beautiful and talented. im such a hardcore harmonizer to lmao😍❤️👑
5sos...I've never met them but they are so sweet and I watch fans experience meeting them and I can tell you that they go out of their way to make their fans happy

You obviously can't compare that, I know it's not about how big the fanbase is but it makes a difference while meeting them, fifth harmony only had a few people waiting for them so they had a lot more time and it was a lot more safe to chat for a while with their fans. But 5sos had more then a hundred people waiting for them so they didn't have time for a hug and a chat and their security guards had to be very strict, it wouldn't have been safe to talk to everybody since everybody want to meet them, or at least they wanted a picture with them and that is usually all you can get when there's so many people there. I'm kind of neutral in this but I do like 5sos better, all I'm saying is that it's not fair to compare them when there's such a big difference
I'm sure there are more videos of 5sos meeting fans properly but I felt that Michael was the only one really interacting with them. It felt like he cared. Everything it's going to change when 5H have a busy schedule and there are more than just 20 fans waiting for them. You have to understand 5SOS had more fans waiting for them, before all the crazy fans came the boys would talk for hours to their fans, now security have instructions to be followed and it DOES get harder. The video is kind of pointless in terms of "comparison" for many reaosons, especially considering the number of fans that showed up for 5SOS compared to 5H. HOWEVER, you can't fake being genuine, and you can see that with 5H more. I mean, a lot of factors carry into this but just look at their faces. 5H clearly shows more interest while 5SOS just looked bored. Or maybe they're just tired. Who knows. With that being said, I do believe that with 10 fans showing up or 100s... 5H would do the same thing. fifth harmony because the girls literally say thank you multiple times and/or remind us how much they love us in an interview more than once. the girls remember their fans, they remember their fans stories and they surprise fans all the time. i remember in an interview lauren was asked to tell a fan story and remembered every single part of it. and they do meet and greets before and after concerts. 5sos just doesn't look like they want to be there with their fans.
but the situations were completely different from each other. first of all, 5sos were MOBBED by 150 screaming teenage girls while 5h only had like 15 fans there that were pretty chill. second of all, 5sos have a very strict security that keep pushing fans away and telling 5sos they have to go and have no time for meeting everyone, while 5h had chilled security guards that gave them the time to meet everyone. and 5sos were just really tired and jet lagged, they work really hard every day. they love their fans so much and have a great and close relationship with them. and they actually do remember their fans, they even remember the names of the girls from their VERY FIRST GIG. they also did a thing called derpcon a while ago that let fans from literally all around the world to meet them and it cost them nothing, 5sos paid for everything. and michael even tweeted that we are the family he never had... and there are so many more things they did and still do for us that i didn't mention and i can literally rant about it for years... but my hands are getting tired lol so please don't say that 5sos don't care about us or don't even wanna be with us cuz it's so untrue.

Also if you knew anything about 5H you would not they would never promote that type of behavior. Just the fact that everyone is trying to make this into a competition is sad. There are many factors that completely differentiate the two bands. The only thing that puts them together is that they were nominated for the same award once. Other than that, it shouldn't be a big deal. Everyone is just trying to make it seem like a bigger problem than it is, if it'seven a problem at all. Both truly care about their fans a lot, and both haven't failed to make that known.

it's not about who has more fans. It's about how they TREAT their fans. 5SOS could've easily turned to their fans and thanked them for going all the way to the airport to see them or at least engage in small talk. Whereas the girls of fifth harmony willingly push their security guards away just to engage in a small conversation with their fans, there were a few times they stayed in the airport an hour or more extra to meet fans even though they had just arrived home and wanted to spend time with their families, and a few more times they went 2 hours earlier to talk to fans before their flights back home or to another state. They ALWAYS want to meet fans and talk to them. Brazil was an exception because they were forced to leave by a different exit but they were upset and crying over the fact that they couldnt meet anyone. They constantly made up for it by going out to their hotel just to meet fans every few hours. AND THIS is why I stan these amazing caring girls and not boys who think they're too famous to show even a tiny bit of respect for their fans, and before you bash me, I dont remember reading ONE incident where any girls of fifth harmony has ever neglected a fan

Lets look at it like this, Security Guards get paid to keep the band safe, that is their job. 20 girls are hardly going to do any harm, therefore Fifth Harmony had the chance to meet their fans, whereas, over 100 girls could do a lot more damage. The management that 5sos are under are fairly strict on meeting fans. They love meeting their fans t because there's too many of us, trying to meet them, all the time that it's not up to them, anymore. The only way that the comparisons would be fair, is if there's around the same amount of fans and then we can see. Rant over.

that's true but here's the thing, even when being mobbed by hundreds of people and surrounded by security guards 5h still acts the same way. now I'm sure 5sos are sweet guys but from what I've seen 5h just seems to be nicer to fans. there's this video of them arriving in Australia and they are being mobbed by way more people than 5sos is in this video and yet each one of the girls still trys to take the time to at least say something to or hug their fans instead of just taking a picture and walking away. they always try to make a personal connection with their fans everytime they meet them.

If 5SOS didn't care about their fans then explain how 5SOS remember the name of the fans that went to their very first gig. The only fair way to compare is to see 5SOS with a small group like Fifth Harmony had. You should see their meet and greets...and 5SOS even created a whole entire day dedicated to meeting fans at Derpcon. They literally paid for most of it and got to see fans from all across the world. They met fans, took pictures, signed stuff, hugged them, and talked to them.

I think Michael was the only one who actually communicated with the fans out of all the 5sos. The rest just smiled for a selfie one after another and said nothing. 5h was so cute with their fans. They started talking while security was telling them to move and they kept on talking. Lauren was talking to the girl in the blue sweatshirt about how the girl self harmed and gave her advice. The girl cried and lauren wiped her tear. That's a true role model. Someone who actually cares about their fans! They even talked about the EMAS and lauren was telling the fans that "you voted your asses off and you should be apologizing because I love you". The girls took a bunch of selfies with the fans and started conversations. My answer is 5h ofc ❤️

I'm not surprised that people think that it looks like 5SOS doesn't want to be there with the fans but it's probably because they have said so many times how awkward they feel around girls but they Love their fans! Reasons why I stan 5H
If I thought I was a hxc punk rocker, but all my fans were teen girls who mostly just cared about the way I looked, I'd probably get annoyed with them after a while too. #realtalk All the 5SOS fans are dressed up and in full makeup like they're auditioning for America's Next Top Groupie. 5H fans seem more chill here. Makes it easier for the girls to be genuinely interested in them.
I'm not a 5H fan, I'm obsessed with 5SOS but i think that 5H handle their fans very well. But you also have to keep in mind the numbers of people that show up for 5SOS compared to 5H. Im sure it would be the same thing if they had the same sized crowd.

Ok I am a full heartedly sauser but I say will say that fifth harmony is better with their fans but at the same time, most of that was their managers. You can't judge them on how they treat their fans when their management is there MAKING everyone stop taking pictures of them and getting their autographs. If fifth harmony had 5sos' manegment team they would have done the same thing that they did and vis versa. 5sos thinks of their fans as family because we helped them get where they are. Now I'm not saying that 5sos is any better than fifth harmony at all but I am saying that they would do the same thing that 5H did.

You really can't compare these two situations. 5h are really sweet to their fans but 5sos are too. For example, one time 5sos were told that they weren't allowed to come outside the hotel and see the fans so they made little paper airplanes with cute messages on them that they threw down to the people waiting for them. There's plenty of videos out there where the boys stop and have private conversations with their fans. You can't really do that when you have 200 people surrounding you all the time. All I'm saying is that they're both insanely nice to their fans but you can't use this video to judge them because they are two completely different situations.

But 5sos had more then a hundred people waiting for them so they didn't have time for a hug and a chat and their security guards had to be very strict, it wouldn't have been safe to talk to everybody since everybody want to meet them, or at least they wanted a picture with them and that is usually all you can get when there's so many people there. I'm kind of neutral in this but I do like 5sos better, all I'm saying is that it's not fair to compare them when there's such a big difference

This is why 5SoS is better. The first reason is have you even heard about Ashton drawing butterflies on their arms for the fans who self harm. Second reason is that they actually do stuff with them. 5sos treat their fans great. I am so sick of people saying they are assholes to their fans they are not. The difference is most of the fans of 5SOS only love them because of their music and looks but when it comes to harmonizers, the fans love them not only because of their music and looks but also they are the type of girls who shows care and love for the people who supports them and they really act like sisters to them.

The video is kind of pointless in terms of "comparison" for many reaosons, especially considering the number of fans that showed up for 5SOS compared to 5H. HOWEVER, you can't fake being genuine, and you can see that with 5H more. I mean, a lot of factors carry into this but just look at their faces. 5H clearly shows more interest while 5SOS just looked bored. Or maybe they're just tired. Who knows. fifth harmony because the girls literally say thank you multiple times and/or remind us how much they love us in an interview more than once. the girls remember their fans, they remember their fans stories and they surprise fans all the time. i remember in an interview lauren was asked to tell a fan story and remembered every single part of it. and they do meet and greets before and after concerts. 5sos just doesn't look like they want to be there with their fans.
but the situations were completely different from each other.
first of all, 5sos were MOBBED by 150 screaming teenage girls while 5h only had like 15 fans there that were pretty chill.
second of all, 5sos have a very strict security that keep pushing fans away and telling 5sos they have to go and have no time for meeting everyone, while 5h had chilled security guards that gave them the time to meet everyone.
and 5sos were just really tired and jet lagged, they work really hard every day. they love their fans so much and have a great and close relationship with them. and they actually do remember their fans, they even remember the names of the girls from their VERY FIRST GIG. they also did a thing called derpcon a while ago that let fans from literally all around the world to meet them and it cost them nothing, 5sos paid for everything. and michael even tweeted that we are the family he never had... and there are so many more things they did and still do for us that i didn't mention and i can literally rant about it for years... but my hands are getting tired lol

5sos treat their fans fine, actually more than fine, it's the fans that don't treat them right. Mobbing is never okay. Especially after a long flight, they are tired, but are stuck in crowds. I'm glad to see that they put an effort into meeting them despite the circumstances, but they will give up if mobbing continues.

The hashtag about ashton cut your self was created by a 5SOS stan their are screen caps and trend accounts proving that so it wasn't start by harmonizers, and most harmonizers didn't participate in it. Also if you knew anything about 5H you would not they would never promote that type of behavior. The night 5SOS won the EMA Lauren wrote a twit longer about not hating competition and not responding to hate with hate. So, next time do your research.

Just the fact that everyone is trying to make this into a competition is sad. There are many factors that completely differentiate the two bands. The only thing that puts them together is that they were nominated for the same award once. Other than that, it shouldn't be a big deal. Everyone is just trying to make it seem like a bigger problem than it is, if it'seven a problem at all. Both truly care about their fans a lot, and both haven't failed to make that known.
