Inventor musician Emmett Chapman explains the creation and technique of the NS/Stick instrument in a 2007 interview with Rocket Scientists producer / keyboardist Erik Norlander. This is an excerpt from the video, "An Afternoon with Emmett Chapman", taken from the 2007 Rocket Scientists - Looking Backward multimedia box set. Such a great display. Happy I was able to get 2 Sticks while Emmett was alive.
I love it, "The Emmett and Don Show!"
great instrument!!!! the best bass sound I have ever heard and easier to play than I originaly thought thanks to the thin graphite neck. Great job Emmett...Frank

This is clearly advanced noodling.
It’s a shame John Entwistle never got to play one. 😞
He owned one, if you look it up, it was sold at auction by Sotheby’s at some point after his death.
@@myworms I stand corrected! I had a feeling he would’ve loved it!
he has it's down hand and he has his up hand....hihi cute:)

WTF!!!
@@BlueManIan I love Tony, but he's not remotely a master of the stick.
He's perfunctory on it.
I'm talking VIRTUOSO, like an Yngwie or Vai or John McLaughlin.
There isn't ONE stick virtuoso on the planet! ARGH!
@@umpygoodness2369 Ontogeny is a death metal band that uses one of these tuned to A standard.
