- Ice has melted, waterways are open, sun is shining: time to get my canoe and stuff for a trip. NP Alde Feanen, Friesland, Northern Netherlands.
And testing the Infinity Wind Turbine for charging my devices.

Weer een mooie briliant self-reliance system Hans, Wind energie wat is dat toch mooi.
Wat betreft de solar panels die niet werken komt gewoon omdat ze te klein zijn om genoeg AMPs te genereren. Dan heb je minimaal gewoon een 100W Panel nodig. Dan laad die ook nog bij ook als de zon niet schijnt.Ik weer genoten van je mooie video !

Sometimes almost unreal in those horizontal sumbeams. In summerime they last only minutes, this period of the year they last the whole day. CU

Dat was een mooie trip door Friesland! Ondanks dat je windmolen niet helemaal was wat je verwachte vind ik het slim van je dat je op het idee kwam om wind te gebruiken omdat wind altijd met je meereist hahaha,dan ben je zeker omgevingsbewust mooi. Groet!
Yeah, en fijn dat het er nu nog zo rustig was. Denk dat dat straks wel wat anders wordt. En die wind .... ha ha, "if you can´t beat the enemy, join him".

Yeah, lekker voortkabbelen over dat warme horizontale strijklicht is inderdaad een genot.
Overal drie dagen aanleggen ..., klinkt heel aanlokkelijk ja maar ben bang dat het in het zomerseizoen 't Hooft' taferelen oplevert en stuurmanskunst om de kano tussen de afmeertrossen te manoeuvreren.
Windmolen, ach ja, ik probeer dingen die me tegenstaan een positieve wending te geven. Hoop er in Zweden en Noorwegen inderdaad plezier van te hebben. Die ene nacht op Hooft was trouwens ideaal voor zo´n molentje geweest.

Mooie beelden weer en heerlijk wakker worden zo vroeg met een zonnetje. Die windmolen viel mij wel wat tegen, had er ook wel wat meer van verwacht :d

Zo wakker worden is inderdaad een genot. Maar ja, daar weet jij ook alles van. Die windmolen heb ik natuurlijk nog niet écht kunnen testen en ik wil m´n oordeel niet vellen n.a.v. slechts één ochtendje. Bovendien was m´n batterij al behoorlijk vol en de laatste procentjes ´volproppen´ kost altijd meer tijd en energie. Eerst maar eens wat vaker gebruiken voor ik weet of het wat is.

Haven't had a chance for a proper try out of the windmill. So I still can't rely on it. Although my present battery is big and heavy, I'm getting used to it. And that waterproof ammo box is also perfect to protect my electronic devices. So I think that windturbine will not be a replacement but an adding.

Prachtige film weer! Waar heb je die windmolen vandaan? En was hij duur?
Ik vind het een interessante aankoop
Die windmolen heb ik besteld bij Knivesandtools.nl Kijk maar op hun site voor details en prijzen.
Concept is aardig maar in de praktijk heb ik er helaas niet veel plezier van gehad. Er is toch aardig wat wind voor nodig om de propeller rond te laten draaien en voldoende energie op te wekken voor bruikbare output. Voorlopig houd ik het toch maar gewoon bij m´n accu in de kist. Da´s betrouwbare energie waar ik drie weken ruimschoots mee vooruit kan.
Thanks for sharing your adventure. I really liked the way you used your canoe as a part of your camp. I wish I could sleep out in the open right by the water like that but we have too many things that would try to sting, bite or eat me!!! Was it just me, or did I see some kind of shooting star at 19:19??? I like that you thanked your spot like "Spij" does... did he get that from you, or you from him? Either way, I think it's a nice thing to do! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Chris, it´s funny that I long for the wild and untouched nature which seems very hard to find where I live. But you make me aware that it is also a bless not to be stung, bitten or eaten. Now I see my own ‘green grass’ through the eyes of ‘my neighbour’.
Thanking the spot for having me is what I´ve always done. Got it from nature itself, and everything that lives in it, to do so since I was a young boy. I even ask permission to stay before setting up camp, or ask the trees if it is okay to use my hammock. As you can see in my vid th-cam.com/video/rVN2LD1f9zM/w-d-xo.html (# 30:00 à) that permit is sometimes refused. Can´t speak for ‘Spij’ from whom he got it, but I´m very glad he does so. I´ve even seen The Norwegian One doing so. People who pay respect to nature beings make me happy. And I´m very pleased you noticed. Ta! Would be beautiful when more people become aware of this.
Shooting star …., ha, thought it was an airplane caught by time lapse, but perhaps you are right and WAS it a shooting star full filling my wishes of above. Thanks again mate! See ya.

Tja, zo druk bezig geweest met genieten dat dingen erbij inschieten. Wie weet volgende keer. Wel lekker hoor, zoveel peddelwater dicht bij huis. Dat mis ik dan toch wel.
