- HIIIII, so, i was watching a video where tectone said that acheron would do way more damage than seele with the same relics.
Though it is pretty obvious i still got curious and decided to make this video.
In the video i tried acheron both with and without her signature light cone.

It should be obvious that damage per screenshot comparisons are meaningless (unless you think Argenti is the 2nd best DPS in the game).
Acheron should be doing two times the screenshot damage at absolute minimum to match Seele's damage output. Don't take my word for it - search up any 0 cycle for both and Seele's doing literally twice the ults and many more skills than Acheron.
I mean you would rather be able kill your enemies in a single bust then kill them one by one, seele being able to often is pointless when you can just kill everyone on the flied with one burst and lets not pretend like acherons ult is so pricey, infact id argue its easier to achieve than seele's but thats just depends on build, and when it comes to dps acheron still does more, and even more when its aoe
@@DPStry-unit you can't kill everyone in one ult in MoC though? And not sure why it matters if you use two ults or 4 ults if you're clearing just as fast (i.e. 0 cycling) either way
@@27Ganon buddy seele is not clearing moc as fast acheron, if youre not killing them in one ult then you can atleast kill them in 2, if not then am sorry but youre acheron has really bad build, and also seele need way more investment to clear the moc just as fast as acheron and even then she still struggles to do so

Their ultimate multiplier already said it which acheron in total was 672% while seele was 425% its not even considering trace 2 acheron that multiply her multiplier scaling+dmg bonus stats.
And lets not forget what seele does for bringing res pen now acheron has it and alot better than her(even thought for seele the buff still last so long with some setup gameplay by lisara does today unlike acheron the respen last only on ultimate).
So by kektone saying acheron does more damage than seele is arguably true but it can be no since what these 2 does still do different roles for each. Its like comparing himari azuma to fubuki azuma both doing different combat👀
There's also the teensy little fact that Seele ults 4 times and skills 6+ times for every 2 Acheron ults
no he's actually wrong, looking at kit multipliers and drawing conclusions is not how you theorycraft, in fact it means you are a terrible theorycrafter. you need to look at how the kit functions. Seeles multipliers are shorter but she gets more turns and more ults. Its the reason right now that even the best theorycrafters consider her very difficult to theorycraft, because theres a lot going on in her kit. The best way you can guage her currently is here cycle clears(which currently are faster than jing liu). If we take a look at jing liu calcs and acheron calcs. If you are even saying she does double Seele's dmg you are already someone i can tell has no idea what they are talking about.
Seen the same shit when Dan Heng il came out and the same shit when jing liu came out yet. Is she stronger than Seele? Absolutely, is it to the degree that people are making it out to be? Hell no. People just have new DPS brain rn and taking the click baits too seriously.
@@Malix2238 that's why i said "arguably true but it can be no" since what seele does and acheron was vastly different. Seele without any setup needed can give higher dmg ceiling within 5 cycle(average minimum cycle for every phase to be 3 star moc+pf) than every dps especially acheron without any setup she needs like 2 nihility ally.
DHIL who give biggest dmg before acheron in 1 time get so much damage than seele but within 5 cycle he can't reach what seele does without proper support for him, that include JL and even acheron.
But the fact was indeed true. The number speaks itself and the current challenge from MoC 12&PF 4 speaks louder without considering turbulence itself already give the taste of it.
Tho imo seele was not completely powercreept unless hoyoverse decide to increase the challenge again like MoC 15+PF 5 with the enemy reach Lvl 100 that's where seele get tested again for not being powercreeped.
@@zmkatsu4885 Seele still has the cheapest MoC 12 0 cycles, she can 0 cycle Sam without any limited characters, pretty sure no one else other than maybe Acheron can do that
@@27Ganon hmmm no sure bout that. Cuz from lisara showcase which consist of sw and sparkle they had to be "higher investment" from sw needs spd+ehr while sparkle needs big spd+cdmg too. Good thing tingyun still available for her.
And she even admit in discord that "in order to require to 0 cycle seele you need big investment your ally not to mention for rng enemy hit your sparkle/tingyun". Even if you wanna include someone like tingyun+pela+bronya they do need biggest investment where average f2p players cant achieve this unless you are very lucky b*st*rd in relic planar farming.
