This is going to fly like you say with some APIs we can plug in. I’m just working on text 2 action stuff where it takes over my machine and goes off all on its own. The next age is not coming it’s right here. This blows my mind!!
Obviously, you have not spent any time with Replit agent. Not only is it incapable of completing a project, but it will use all your usage time trying to fix its errors. Then you have to wait four hours for another try and the same thing happens and you wait another four hours. I think it would help your reputation if you tested these product products before recommending them to your followers. Just my opinion.
I am on the Core Plan $20/month and this Replit Agent is awesome. Don't know what u r talking about errors, reputation, usage time, etc. And BTW if you don't like debugging, then programming is not for you.

It Does NOT have RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) !!! In other words It DOES NOT remember what you Have told it 3 minutes ago. Therefore, it repeats and repeats the same error and Asking you and me to do the same F'n thing! If TIME is MONEY?? then there's where the Rub (robbery) comes into play! If it Cannot Fix the error and Replit Does Not or Cannot add RAG? I'm on the path for a REFUND!

Imagine you create a responsive design in Webflow or Figma and export all the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and then put them into the ready-made files in Replit, and just connect the functionalities with the design. Do you think it might work?

Suggestion? Still in the beginnings of your vid where the images for each sub-section are Not showing up... U probably already know this? But doing it in real-time its tuff to think about everything. But copy/pasting the sub-section where the Icons are not showing up should be the very 1st action plan. Specially after the Agent failed 2x already. Look down on the chat window you can upload a file with the paper clip icon. Replit must love you and we love your independent thinking / critical thinking -> Out of the BoX!!!
Why you did not copy the code and configuration and deploy to any cloud Services like aws. Please create video for the same. If we do not want to use replied server
I feel that Replit Agent is a bit buggy compared to GPT Engineer which works like a charm. But I am very sure Replit Agent will become better and better.

What I dont like about replit is the fact that their terms of use make me abit uneasy about public vs private replits (your code base?)... Feels a little nosy to me about the code being generated.
Do not believe this video. I signed up with a teams account to get the better virtual machine to run this on. The agent continues to make mistakes and I’m not talking about what it’s working on to get refinement. No. It goes and changes things that you didn’t even ask it to AND specifically told it not do change! Also the product is in Alpha so you run out of agent credits very fast because you keep having to tell it to do things over and over again. If you want more credits it’s $500 a month for the extra credits. There is no way this product can be trusted with an existing code repository yet. I say yet because this is defiantly the future but it’s quite a ways away from being enterprise ready. After 2 days of promoting I’m almost done with a pretty simple website. Not even a web app!
Stop paying for these hypy ai sh@t show. Just use lama3 or basic chatgpt. U don't need that 0.1% improvement from payed products. Paying for ai = BOT mentality
He’s just trying to position himself for when agents are really useful. A blind man can see that these agent videos are pointless, but I keep checking in cuz the legit ones will have the same titles.
I appreciate this video, but TBF - the quality of the output is really really bad. I mean - You could get a lot better result with vercel's 0, especially that output would be usable for anyone with some skills. The AI agants won't be able to code acceptable level websites for a long time IMHO
it is quite limited and buggy for now...when it makes errors (even with small projects) it goes in circles but ... debug it with chat GPT and it works again ! the great PROS : : it instals required dependencies, database, and can be use as an online multifile editor. it can also deploy the public version. so IMO its perfect to learn to code in the right environment and quickly product a MVP.. It seems to work better with FLASK backend (its first choice always : python) than NODE JS. But man : it works ONLINE from your smartphone its fun and it will be optimized...
Forgot to mention the speed. It’s about the slowest AI I have ever seen. The speed this guy is going at in this video is complete nonsense. It has to be sped up somehow.
pls dont chew gum when doing professional speaking. smacking lips is something we endure in some of the videos, but the chewing sound or lip smacking makes it difficult to focus on your message. thanks for the information - it was a struggle for me (subscriber) to focus at times. thank you. :)
Great video! The gum, though... Please don't during videos. The smacking is distracting from your content. I'm quite sure not for everybody, but best practices would seem to be to appeal to the widest audience possible, and I'm quite sure that nobody would miss the gum if it weren't there.
These kind of A.I. apps aren’t very interesting and probably won’t have much impact on society outside of get rich quick schemes. Projects like DeepMind’s AlphaFold 2 on the other hand will!

You can see the progress though. When it's ready for prime time, I want to be ready to pounce.
Also I use it to do about 70% less work in my regular job, really good for simple repetitive tasks that require pattern recognition.
