And that would be the original lineup in 1985. I followed them through in Philly, DC/VA, NJ, & NYC (where David J. took over Bass duties from Steve Valentine.) But that was early 2000 & they have changed over the years. Here's a few of my photos from the DC/VA show. jazzbutcher.com/gigs/2000/May8.html

Thanks John for all that indispensible info. Now pinned it to the top to help everyone out.
That's definitely not David J on bass. I think it's Graham "Felix" Fudger, who also played on the Hamburg live album from 1985.
brilliant show. R.I.P. Pat.
Pretty much the same as my first JBC show... Guelph, July 25, 1986.
Anyone else there?
RIP Pat Fish.

Appreciate your posting this! Some great live songs I never heard when they played in CHICAGO...
Did you see them at Lounge Ax?

wonderful!
To think...in 1985 there was Live Aid and all that mainstream nonsense... meanwhile, this was going on somewhere with hip fans of this JBC sound
Dave J departed Jazz Butcher around March 1985 to start Love and Rockets. So he wasn't with them on this fall 85 tour.
Thanks! Yes, someone says in another comment they think it's Graham "Felix" Fudger, who was on the '85 live album. All great detective work!
That's how Felix held his bass. I thought of him too
Thats Felix.
