Next up for Top Rank Boxing, Former unified junior lightweight world champion Mikaela Mayer returns in a 10-round junior welterweight battle against Italian contender Silvia Bortot on Saturday, Sept. 2 at AO Arena in Manchester, England.
#MayerBortot will take place on the undercard of the highly anticipated middleweight rematch between bitter rivals Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr.
Promoted by BOXXER, Smith-Eubank II, Mayer-Bortot and additional undercard bouts will stream live and exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+ starting at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT. Sky Sports Box Office will broadcast the event in the UK and Ireland.

This fight was nuts. Mayer could have probably boxed her way to a comfortable decision, but she stood right there and threw with Hamadouche. Great fight!

This fight wasn't close. Especially in the 2nd half. Hamadouche was just putting out volume. She was connecting early in the fight but in the 2nd half of the fight, those body shots from Mayer took the steam off of her punches.
Mayer threw the cleaner, harder, more effective punches and was more accurate. Rounds 5-10 were undoubtedly Mayer rounds, and even in the early rounds, Hamadouche didn't win one round definitively. The couple of rounds you can likely give Hamadouche were swing rounds because Mayer was just as effective in them.
