I’ve been the same way. My fox was sitting in my garage for 10 years. I got some money together and dropped a brand new motor in it and was buying parts every week for the past 2 years and working as much as I could on it. I fired it up for the first time and discovered brake lines were leaking and just little dumb stuff that needed to be fixed. It’s basically 98% complete but now I just don’t have much motivation to finish the other 2% 😂. Like you said when you work all week and only get 2 days off sometimes you just wanna chill out.
Keep grinding and keep the videos coming. I enjoy your content and if you keep working at it you can reach more people. Don't lose your interest or love for your ride.
I understand completely!!! I am doing my first swap. Not my first engine tho. Ls3/6L80E in a 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor. Its a project with my grandkids. My other Vic will be getting a 5 OH/6R80. I have ro get this one done first.
I’m also dealing with this. My 87 TTop 306 Turbo Fox has been sitting for 5 years now while I work on it here and there. I can’t get motivated to save my life. I didn’t use to be this way. I procrastinate way to much which effects a lot of stuff. I have all tubular suspension, coilovers, aluminum heads, all new fuel system, terminator X, braum racing seats and on and on. Most of the stuff is in the garage in boxes waiting for me 😢
This is me as well. Probably 5k in parts in a box waiting for me to do it. And like an idiot with amnesia I still buy more and I’m gonna forget what I have and buy some stuff again!
@@GAGEDADY I’m exactly the same way. I’ve actually bought parts that I already have. Today I actually worked on it, granted it wasn’t that long but I got my turbo back on. I’m so close to getting it running if I can just stick with it. 306 with Edelbrock Performer heads with 202 valves they are porter and polished, 1.7 Svo roller rockers, F303 Cam, Trickflow street intake,BBK 75mm Throttle body, MISHIMOTO aluminum radiator with Tarus electric fan. Deka 80lb injectors, aeromotive 340 fuel pump,Aeromotive Fuel rails, Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator, Vibrate Fuel braided Fuel lines, On3 turbo kit, Terminator X, Mac Val, Ford racing oil filter relocation. UPR Tubular K-member, UPR tubular control arms front & Rear, UPR coilovers, Brembo brakes Subframe connectors, Braum racing seats, Motion Raceworks SFI Quick Release Steering Hub, Jegs battery relocation kit I have a T5 that I’ve not installed yet. It’s not a race car but it isn’t a bad list.
Car looks amazing. My fox been on jack stands for over a year now. Real close to finishing my turbo 347 and should only be a couple weeks till startup. Mines an ugly pig that's needs paint real bad. But gotta get in on the road first

Looking good, car will always be there when you’re ready to work on it. What cell is that in the spare tire?
Need some new content!!! I am getting back into the fox, now that it's time for winter!! lol. I have a renewed love for my fox.
I remember when you picked it up. Time goes by quick.

Little by little bro!
That upper intake is sick what motor is that 347 363 ?
Nice video! What block do you have?
What did you do with the tkx? I'd probably be interested.
What happened to the turboed nitro rc car?
Good work. Sounds like a lot left. The city about the jack stands is lame.
My turbo touches the hood, but i also use a carb over efi.
Imma need a new video, sir 😂
