Yeah, tires is one thing that is still keeping racers busy during the race, apart a repair of course. Back in the days, we had to attend tires and make sure our NiCd or Ni-Mh was charged right on time, probably had to cut the motor comm, change the brushes and triple check our radio frequency 😊
You guys should race LMP (and GT12) at the CARS Summer Shootout series events at the Chesterfield Auto Racing Society club. You can race with some of the top LMP drivers in the country and receive setup help from those top drivers.
To be honest the LMP class doesn't really 'float my boat', I don't know why, these days I'm enjoying the off-road racing far more. And if we're talking scotch eggs, Tesco FInest, the best by far....😜
Echo Sam's comments, Tamworth is always worth a trip, good standard of racing and plenty of experienced lmp racers on hand to help
The support equipment ( tire truer ) makes the final cost of that style of racing
Not wrong
I think lmp is going to be my next class. My club runs it.
South Cambs on a Monday have an lmp heat!
We will Popalong soon
Tamworth RC club (TRRAC) always has a good and very competitive LMP and GT12 turnout. Definitely worth a visit.
You guys rock🤟
I run lmp in Australia running the Xray x12 24 using ultis tyres and v3 orange mighty gripper
Where do you race? I’m up in QLD. I don’t know of any road tracks here. I’d love to get into it.
I agree with Carl about buggy tyres - just put them on and send it.
You should run frontie, their tyres last for 40runs and get faster the older they are
I do like that about frontie. Although the class has gone quiet at my club :(.

It really was a labour of love back in the day, I feel spoilt
Man they are so fast! ❤it. Always wanted a pan car, 12th is too small though😢

Very good point!! Will be great to come and see you👍 what are the tyre of choice?
No more Scotch Eggs,That is harsh!
In Carl's defence, hes been doing GT12, there isnt a massive difference from Lmp stock....he may well be the dark horse in Lmp😆
Thanks Anthony
i use awsomatix and x-ray do like the awsomatix more
why called LMP but i thought they called Pan Car? may i ask why?

My tiny brain wouldn't keep up with those kind of speeds 😐
Stop being a isehier driver when you have no comparison let him have a go😅
Is buggie racing 🏁 not easier for you lads after getting used to this. Rapid that
Actually yes it is, the plan is to sharpen the reflexes👍
@PopalongRC can hardly keep up just watching 👀, I was pretty quick at off road en all a LONG time ago . Love the channel guys thanks keep it up 👌
