Ami Hudson Ten is Thai. Both his parents are Thai. I’m Thai but have some Chinese blood in me that percent is like 25%, majority of Thai people are like that and including Ten too. But Lucas for sure half Chinese/Thai cause his mom is Thai and his dad is from Hong Kong.

Okay take a deep breath time to explain NCT as simply as I can
So NCT as a whole has CURRENTLY 21 members but more people are added every once in a while (about every year) since NCT's concept is to have an unlimited amount of people that they divide in smaller sub-groups
NCT 127 - simple it has 10 people and that's it easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy
NCT DREAM - the underage members of the group which essentially means once they reach adulthood they "graduate" from this subgroup
NCT U - okay this one is essentially "oh we have a cool song and it would go well with these members so let them sing it and just call it NCT U" so it can be any members and any number of members
WayV - the newest instalment and don't get scared by the difference in the name it's still NCT just for political reasons they can't be named NCT. Wayv is a Chinese subgroup of NCT consisting of most of the members with Chinese heritage and since they promote in China they can't be very loudly associated with South Korean brand thus the different name
(kinda on the side NCT 2018 was a project where all 18 members of 2018 had one song together called Black on Black it's pretty lit you should check it out)

There is one more unit NCT U but this one isn’t permanent. They switch members every comeback depending on who suits the concept of the song the best
I know it’s a little much at first but it’s actually pretty easy to understand some people just explain it pretty weirdly😂💚

The white haired boy is taeyong he’s the leader of NCT 127 and the leader of NCT as a whole! He’s in NCT 127, NCT U and he’s also in SUPERM! NCT has 21 members all up and more counting, the subunits are NCT U, NCT 127, NCT DREAM and WAYV

NCT is the name of the group. its like the brand. Then underneath that brand are different groups.
NCT U: Rotational Unit. They add members to this group that will fit the certain comeback concept it has during that time.
NCT 127: Fixed Unit: 10 members
NCT Dream: Members will rotate out of this group as they get older. Some members are part of NCT 127
Wayv: Fixed unit. Chinese subunit
There are several members who are in more than one group. An example is Mark. He is in ALL or has been in all units except Wayv. Haechan is in NCT Dream but will graduate this year from it, but he is permanently in NCT 127. Win Win is in NCT 127 but right now is promoting with WayV. And so forth. You will get the gyst of it. NCT concept itself is that it can have an unlimited amount of members so every year NCT is growing with new units emerging to accommodate the growing number of members. They want NCTS all over the world. such as NCT wayv is based in China, they will make more NCTS based in other countries, and eventually NCT America LMAO that's so weird to me.

NCT is the main group and currently there are 4 sub units:
NCT 127 - 127 is the longitude of Seoul, this is the korean unit (there will be more units from other places around the world)
NCT Dream - The teenagers, once a member turns 20 the "graduate" from Dream and join another unit
NCT U - The U stands for United, this unit basically let's members from different units collab with each other. whoever fits the new concept or song will feature on it, sometimes there are 5 members sometimes 2, sometimes 4,... you get it
WayV - The chinese sub unit. they debuted in january 2019 and are still pretty new. Because of complicated relations between korea and china they act like they are their own group, that's why they don't have NCT in their name
NCT's concept is basically "limitless", limitless amount of members, limitless units, limitless potential. All their units make great music and are very talented and well trained and definitely worth checking out!
