Very interesting! I learned several facts that I didn’t know before, such as the one about the horns/antlers and the American cheetah. Thank you for letting me take part! 😊
@Yogurtdapro I have a quick question for you. How would you feel about having cheetahs relocated to the North American grasslands and prairies to act as an effective predator of the pronghorn antelope? Personally, I think modern cheetahs would fit the niche of the extinct American cheetah very well and would be very successful hunters
@arkprice79 That would be a very risky idea, African Cheetahs are really suited for an American habitat and introducing a potential apex predator to America could really mess things up.
@Yogurtdapro I'm not sure about that. Cheetahs would mostly hunt in open grasslands and perhaps prairies, too, and they would be hunting animals like deer, hares, and pronghorn antelope. Cheetahs may face competition from bears, wolves, coyotes, and mountain lions, but most of these predators are nocturnal while cheetahs aren't. Bears wouldn't be too frequent in desert or grassland environments, so there's not really much of an issue with them.
@arkprice79 While most of that is true, them becoming apex predator could really mess up the food chain. Cheetahs don’t have any natural predators in North America and their population could easily get out of control, leading to prey scarcity. And back to prey, cougars hunt mule deer and pronghorn, this means that the Cougar would have to compete Cheetah and things could really go south with that. The American Cheetah going extinct was just fate, and the Cheetah living in Africa is what it was made for. It’s better not to interfere with nature.
Dang it! It's okay! I'll improvise! I'm making a documentary in this game of my own! Since I can't use free cam I'll use an eagle and put it in first person so I can show them
