Hey Olallri, Good luck with your new project, you far at the moment with the VW T3 nice work but still a lot to do, greetings, HCS The new Camper looks nice but a lot to resolve there also. Get well soon.
Still a lot of rust to work on, but the frame looks better on the red truck than the orange one. And at least now you've had some practice. 😁 The camper is also going to be a lot of work to restore, but doable. Looking forward to seeing the progress all around.. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Seth! Yeah, the orange one was never going to be a perfect restoration with all the rot that’s still on it. Not to mention the panels that you can’t get.
Decent! Lots of work but hey it keeps you busy and out of trouble, once done a camper is going to bring alot of pleasure, looking forward to seeing your project/s while I do my own t3 camper project
Almost seems like it might be easier for you to add the passthrough to the Orange truck, but it sounds like you like some other aspects of the red one better... Best of luck, I'll watch it all!
I like the way you described the paint job... “it looks nice from far, but it’s far from nice” hehe what a poet! :p would it be possible to finish the orange one and put the camper and the turbo engine on that one? Thanks for the update Sebastian!
Hi Sabastian sorry to hear you have been ill. Could you salvage good body parts of the first vw, the ones you have already fabricated. Seems a loss not to use the old truck for spare parts. I do hope you are keeping well.
lol the saying works in English too :) Messziről jól néz ki, de messze nem jó :) hajrá, pont ilyesmit szeretnék előbb utóbb én is csinálni várom majd az epizódokat nagyon.
Glad to hear you’re going to continued on the “yellow” (orange) truck.
I put so much work in it, I can’t just give up on it.

Thanks Rob! I’ll do some digging and a side by side comparison of the two and we will decide together!

Thanks Leo! Honestly The red one has a higher value if it is fixed because it was a factory turbo diesel with power steering and all the shenanigans.
This should be a good project to follow.
That’s great work boyo
mine is so much worse I have twin cab right hand drive

Thanks all good now! I see it as a practice. I’m hoping that someone could finish it, in worst case.

Finish the orange enka ;) that 1.9sdi engine has the same hp as the old 1.9td tough correct gearing would be better for the sdi
