Samba: Pathseekers International School(Ramgarh) observed Vijay Diwas on December 16, 2024, to honor India’s historic victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. This day marked the surrender of 93,000 Pakistani soldiers to the Indian forces, leading to the creation of Bangladesh.
The students actively participated in various patriotic activities, including heartfelt songs, expressive dances, and tributes to the brave soldiers and martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation’s freedom and security.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of Pathseekers Group, SSP (Retd.) Bhupinder Singh, addressed the students and emphasized the significance of the day. He remarked, “It is because of our brave soldiers and martyrs that we all are living safely. Their sacrifices will always inspire us to uphold the values of courage, patriotism, and dedication.”
Principal Mrs. Manpreet Kaur lauded her team for organizing an informative and inspiring special assembly for the students. She said, “Such events instill a sense of respect and pride in our students for our armed forces and their unparalleled contributions to the nation.”
The event concluded with a collective pledge by students and staff to honor and remember the sacrifices of India’s war heroes, ensuring their legacy continues to inspire generations to come.
