I am so glad this show existed when I was a kid....I LOVED reading (still do) and it felt so good that there were characters on TV who also loved reading! Wish it was still around. Kids these days need it!
You have no idea how a show can impact your life and learning. This show was there when I was alone as a child. Show was comforting through depressed years in high school. Show was on when I was high in college. Show was on when overwhelmed with case load for providing therapy. Show was on to reduce stress when the next day I needed to fly my airplanes. Show WILL be on when I adopt my children, and they will learn the same way on old school safe, educational, and fun values. Whoever made this and the PBS channel in general, thank you.❤
I’m 30 and I’m still watching! I miss our learning cartoons and I use them to help my little ones! The nostalgia is crazy, I could cry. Between the lions is a classic❤
This just made me realize how much education was catered to back then now the kids watch such damaging things and always on a iPad or tablet ! My son will start watching this everyday now.
I’m 25 and just got my memory refreshed by seeing this show mentioned in a comment I can’t believe I almost forgot about it brought a lot of memories back quick ..
I’d forgotten about this show until a post on ig brought me back. I was raised on PBS kids. I’m thrilled to have this again and I can’t wait to enjoy it with my baby nephew and future children!
When I was a kid I always thought this was like a Lion King thing. I thought Lionel was Simba, the Dad was Mufasa, the mom was Sarabi, and the sister was Nala.
My kindergarten teacher would play this show at the end of every school day! The theme song is forever engraved into my mind! A couple years ago I forgot what it was called. So I searched “giant lion puppets read books”😂 Surprisingly it actually showed up.
26yrs old, I grew up with PBS. I learned this way. I was adopted and didn’t understand too much but watched these shows diligently. Sagwa was my all time favorite, and dragon tales, and this show, and elmo, caiou, cyberspace I think was a different channel? 🤔🤔
Hee hee hee lasted way too long yet summed up my anxiety about emails. And was a perfect explanation of dr. Ruth being on the show. By day, she taught you to read words like parakee. By night in this era she was on MTV taking phone calls and instructing people on how to perform oral to a woman. Revisiting this as a 40 yr old is wild!
Today's kids' shows aren't as creatively fun and educational as they were in the 90s and 2000s. I'm getting my niece to watch old PBS kids instead of the brainrot being pushed online. It's really scary that most of her classmates can barely read and their spelling is atrocious for their grade level. Yet, they play Roblox while watching questionable TH-camrs all weekend.
Currently 23 years old doing my college homework watching this. The nostalgia is real!
Currently 32 years old living with my parents watching this ….🥹
Currently 23 having nostalgia watching this 🙏🏽🥹
Its so funny i am 28 just took a break from writing my thesis and decided to watch this
23? thats young for this!
Amen. After my bachelor's degree I'm watching this.😊

Same here, I watched this show.

Nobody talks about this show enough and it makes me mad! Did cliff hanger ever get off that cliff man? I'm 30 years old and I'm still tryna find out!
SAME THOUGH!!
@@robinsongrlI watched the 10th season when I was 5 in 2010, I was born in 2005 so I seen this on television too
Well what if I told you they actually call it Cliff Hanger because it has cliffhangers

Still hanging till this day or at least his skeleton

They help more than some of the new cartoons.
Dude yes! Between the Lions, The Magic Schoolbus, George Shrinks. Pure nostalgia right there
I literally felt like crying hearing the theme song. This show was a staple.

One of my favorite PBS kids shows along with Dragon Tales and Sagwa!
35 and still enjoy this show. especially with my newborn and 10 years old

I remember this show when I was little. I want to go back in time and save this show and make it remain for good
My children will definitely watch this with me ❤😂 i used to watch this as a child
They certainly broke the fourth wall plenty in this episode but kept it in the same humorous and entertaining sense for the show.
I almost forgot how good and interactive this show was. I used to watch this show after school. Good times.

I’m going to be introduce this show to my nieces tomorrow one of my favorite
31. Haven’t thought about this show in decades the theme song randomly popped into my head today and I’m so glad.
In case nobody gets it.. Keith the dinosaur is thesaurus... Literally the saurus😂😂
this show is so unnecessarily clever i love it
Thank you for uploading this one in HQ! 🙃

I love this show!! I'm 24 and it brings back memories. It's interesting how in this episode, they also mentioned to not click on suspicious links too
The internet was young and the biggest thing to worry about was phishing 😆
I loved this show when I was kid.
20:35 “Restoring New Year’s Eve, pictures of Theo, with a lampshade on his….Oooo” anyone else catch that? 🤔
My favorite part!
Dare I even ask?
I was 5 when i watch this show the memories 💯💯💯💯 after Arthur
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
God I miss this show thank you for uploading episodes of it. It’s sad it did last as long as sesame street did

3:07 before I saw this episode I read that book and it is one of my favorites
I work full time at a library now pursuing my MLIS. This was my favorite show as a kid!
Cleo and Theo are playing in the park when they were cubs
In my opinion, OPINION. The new PBS shows don't teach kids nothing. The only good one is sesame Street.
13:48 that's why we don't download viruses
Funniest part of the episode but it could’ve been funnier if they added Sesame Street show fragments too.

13:38 Oh my! There a lot of Freebees everywhere. I don’t like Freebees.

A computer virus infecting the real world just like what happened in a Strong Bad email several years later. 😄

Why does the dad lion sounds like bowser from mario sunshine?
Dark souls but with language arts wtf lmao nostalgia
Parents if you’re watching PLEASE put this in front of your kids instead of Cocomelon.
Are Walter and Clay a gay couple, or is one of them just a bit odd in the fashion department?
Actually Clay is a female.
🥹✨ thank you for this
