  • In this episode of "Build with SAM", we showcase the 20 SAM studios commissioned by the well-known Belgian real estate developer Urbicoon, As you can see in the images above and below, each SAM consists of a long wall that houses the heating and ventilation, as well as the bathroom, kitchen, bed and even a TV. Together with Urbicoon, we made a circular statement with this groundbreaking project that we are immensely proud of!

Building with the SAM system is a new and easy way of fitting residential buildings with all the necessary utilities: ventilation, heating, water, electricity telecom as well as the kitchen and the bathroom. It's all in there!

I will never understand why people leave a gap between the upper cabinets and the ceiling. Yes, it is not always easy to reach the upper part but even if you leave the cupboard empty it won't become so filthy on the cabinets. The space above the kitchen cabinets is always dirty and hard to clean. And you always have stuff you don't need every day.

We fully agree Solidstate9451. That's why we try and avoid a space between the cabinets and the ceiling in every installation we do!

HI Palwhi, we agree that smaller isn't always better. We just try to make the most out of the space we are given by our clients ;)
