Maj Gen Dayal knows nothing abt Agniveer. He is wrongly peddling congress issue. Time and again he says “ he does not know” then what is he doing on the panel. Do not play angle of daughter😭. We had the similar scheme running for officers very successfully.The scheme is suitable and will b very successful. The Short service commissioned officers are commissioned for five years. Depending upon their performance they are given permanent commissions or sent home. Nowadays things are much better and Agnivveer is much better placed. Most of these officers have done very well and have risen to higher ranks. Those who were not permanent commission had to fend for themselves. (Shaheed ‘s definition has been diluted. Lately people dying of old age and other diseases during a dharna were also called Shaheeds.)Nobody was ever bothered about short service commissioned officers. Now since Mr Rahul Gandhi was successful in creating a false narrative everyone is hopping on the bandwagon. Let the system run and get the feedback from the biggest stakeholders i.e the Commanding officer of the unit. And the last do not say again do not treat Army as an”Employment Exchange”
