I wonder if in the future there will be skills that can give hits to the hunter himself (hits, not just HP Drain), if we can get a counter from those hits we will get benefits, otherwise if we fail get a counter from those hits we will get knockback / dps loss.
Hi I'm a new player to MHrise, but I have played MHIcebirne before what weapon type would you suggest? My choices are, LS, charge blade, or switch axe. Which is the strongest, satisfying, and most fun to use?
Hello everyone, I just wanted to say that I respect modding because it's just a waste of time to farm for speedrunners but the real problem is that people like myself who are playing on other Platforms than Pc don't have any chance to get a good speedrun if we have goofy stuff so, please play legit just by respect for us. (Sorry if Im doing some error Im french)
no reason to farm special investigations, just farm lvl 300 ones instead since they give the same mats. Special Investigations are only for a challenge
@@parekoynyotv I think "nearly" is an understatement. I have augmented more than a thousand times by far now and never have I been able to lose 3 skills at once and gain 3 different ones. I believe it's entirely impossible. The point system technically makes it "legal" by the game's standards, but there seems to be some sort of limit on what you can actually get aside from the point system the game uses to calculate it.

Doesn't really matter what skills are on the armor if you're just good at the game... it's all just rng anyways. He's been one shot for the entire fight. If he did 50% less damage, couldn't he just pull off the same gameplay for twice the time?
@@MaliciousBrowny he's clearly very good, no doubt about it. But a speedrun with modded gear that's not possible to get kinda loses it's purpose. Like, duh he does these faster than other people because his gear is better than it should legally be.
@@valhalla_1129 It passes the legal parameters. Just the odds of actually rolling it might as well be a lotto. Also I think if a person is actually speed running they could just be as good as anyone else but also lose because rng isn't giving them enough stats to compete for best times.
@@MaliciousBrowny I'm pretty damn certain these aren't legal. He lost 35 defense and got three skills for it. I've rolled for augments more than a thousand times and never have I ever seen that.
@@valhalla_1129 the game legally allows these augments, the reason for why you have never seen something like this is cos the odds to get one of these augments are like 1 out of a million or something like that, basically either you are the luckiest person in the world or you will never see a god augment in your life (without mods)

@@princetj593 only works after a succesfull counter. Hit Spirit kombo R2 after connecting counter. Need spirit gauge.

Any of them can be strong. Any of them could be satisfying. All of these may be fun to you or may not be fun to you. Make your own choice.
I don't play anything but Longsword, so yeah... that would be my recommendation.
A lot of the weapons function a lot differently, but LS is quite satisfying with counters. Are you in Sunbreak or just base rise?
