Dave wants to keep the NYC office open because of his ego and Bostonians' tendency to see it as a status symbol.
Moving to either Jersey or Florida would be a great way for him to save money. If I were him, I would just shut it down and send everyone to California and really turn Barstool into an ENTERTAINMENT CO. Any celebrity needed for interviews at the NYC office can also be booked in Chicago or the upcoming California office.
The only practical reason to have been based in NYC was that he was trying to flip the Company for Big $$ and he did that twice. He says he won't do it again. Even if he sells the company again, he has to give 51% of the Pirate booty to Penn.
So Kevin definitively proved he cannot be in charge after being in charge for about 2 weeks

Absolutely agree. The comments section of that podcast spoke would always say how they really enjoyed the content of that show, but Dave selfishly wanted to scale back what he was involved because it was a lot at that time.

Why does kelly act like she’s a content machine when talking about Nate? According to her blog yesterday, the only successful show she’s been on is the chicks in the office Bachelor live stream that has nothing to do with her
BSR just sucks. Why the hell has the New York office not tried to have a fun show like the Yak. I understand that the personalities aren't there at the moment, but they need to figure that out. The leadership qualities from Kevin just aren’t there. If you’re going to ditch something like Barstool Radio, you would transistion to a new setup and plan with the people who are on it originally and create a plan for a couple of weeks to see if it works. Calling around to see who would take it reeks of utter desperation.
