I had the good fortune of diving with one of the survivors, Keith Cunningham, who was the generator mechanic/master diver for the Lady Jenny 5 operating in the Red Sea. Excellent diver and a decent, kind man. Just learned today he passed in 2014. Sad that he’s gone but very happy to have known him.
This was a horrific accident. I’m so sorry for the loss of life. The survivors are here for a reason. They are here to tell the story of the incident. To keep that story alive for generations to come. We must learn from our mistakes. God bless each every person involved in this.

35 years on and we remember the 167 who perished on that tragic night.

Ah just seen at the end of the doc it says 1993 - that's that solved then!
This was terrible. I was 3 in July 1988 when this happened so do not remember it. RIP to those who lost their lives.
