That 1000 iso shot with the tele looked better than my results with the Xperia 1 V tele at base iso!

Certainly an amazing device! My old find X3 pro still takes great pictures.
The last .182 update for the 1 V did massively improve the telephoto clarity.
Unfortunately my 1 V is still out of action and Sony EU are still deciding on a solution.
To be honest though I'd happily stick with the 1v as it's perfect for my needs .
Still great to see you back and showing off just how good these phones are getting with photography

I went into this skeptical, thinking maybe it'd be close, and I'd stick with the Sony. It's been less than a week and I'm already forgetting my 1V exists.
I'm being dramatic, maybe, but seriously this Vivo is special. This is setting the bar in my mind for what mobile photography should be

@@alejandroxplres It doesn't have native log recording, but Xperia doesn't either. I think some third party apps allow it
@@ShibiChan okay some extra función you have missed? From other cameras like pro video or tipicalh black cinema banda thinks like that could you in a Next video show well the camera app pls im going to buy It

I loved your editing style , they look like there's a slight difference between the original and edited version but it makes a whole lot of difference, I would be really glad if you break down the editing ideas of some of these photos 🫶🏽

Thank you for the feedback! I was hesitant to use the super ultra wide mode of the camera. I think I'll stick to a narrower fov for the next photo walk vid to help with that.

Have the same one, but the Chinese variant. Really happy to see this phone in the hands of experienced people! I've been doing photography since the Nex-6 launched but I still learn new things every day. Been having fun ever since I got it lol 😂😂

Hey man can you give some thoughts on the portraits? Those are my main gripe with this phone, I love portraits and from what I've seen this phone likes to mess up skin tones and smoothen the skin. The photos are top class but I just wish the portrait were like Oppo, if that were the case I'd have gotten this phone most likely lol.

I haven't done too much with portraits just yet with it, but I am pretty confident it will do amazing. I'll try some with the built in portrait modes just to show them off, but I think the real magic will be working with the RAWs from pro mode. That way you have total control over things like white balance, noise reduction, and sharpening. Lightroom also offers a new blur feature that I find better than any phone implementation of it, so I definitely plan on testing that out as well!
@@ShibiChan ooo that sounds so cool! Can you do a tour of the phone's features such as the editing tools provided, the differences between RAW and SuperRAW and if you can add a portrait effect after taking the shot? I'm really interested in stuff like that.
Lightroom is cool and easy to use but ony my I find DarkTable and RawTherapee more fun to use. Can't wait for your next vid, subbed!

Does vivo's 100mm better than 1v's 85mm. I heard people complain about the 1v 85mm quality
To be completely honest, I think the 1V telephoto is trash. I've been told I may have gotten a bad phone. Maybe. I think the Vivo's 100mm is the best tele I've ever used on a phone. In certain conditions, it legit feels like an apsc camera
I have Xperia 1 iv and the telephoto is really bad , any shots I take they're all washed out very blurry, a bit disappointed paid £1.200 for itt and it doesn't deliver what I was expecting

I'd love to review a wide variety of different devices, just need to convince the brands to send me some review units ;)
Would be complete with 4k120fps but honestly wondering how useful that would be for me. This is really such a complete beast of a phone honestly.
The Vivo offers 1080p 120fps and also 240fps, but only 4k60 at the moment. I want to try the 1080 and then upscale to 4k and compare it to the Xperia's native 4k120. New video idea! 💡
We appreciate it if you do a shoot with the new Bokeh Mode in Sony Xperia 1v.

The 100mm Changes the Perspektiv and colourgrading.for me it looks more Like a real apeture from a DSLR. But the 85mm Look in many Times sharper.

I now have a samsung galaxy s22 ultra and really like the new Vivo x100 pro), but I don’t know anything about the video mode. Nobody talks about this anywhere(. It can switch during video recording to any camera in 4k30, including selfie camera. For 4k60, it can switch to all of the rear lenses, but not the selfie camera. For selfie 4k60, you'll have to cut and then restart the recording

Hey. I can buy Pixel 8 in my country but I cant buy vivo x100 pro. Is pixel 8 much worse?
I've never used the pixel 8 so I'm not sure how it is! But I recommend shooting raw and editing yourself for best results
Is that inbuilt filter or your custom made filter?
I edit using Lightroom and Dehancer!
@@ShibiChan if you can then please do teach how to do that. I can see at many places u brought down those unnatural sharpness. Most mobile phones does this, apply too much sharpness. If its not too much of a ask then please make a tutorial or reply here in comment about how to do that. Thanks
@@doc_verma My biggest recommendation is to shoot raw, as this gives you the photo before any noise reduction or sharpening is applied to the photo. I recently did a video about MotionCam as well, which is the rawest of files I think available on Android. Otherwise in terms of editing, I did a video recently about masking:

which camera best s23 ultra vs x100 pro
I've not used the S23 Ultra, but I did use the S22 Ultra. If they are anything alike, my vote is for Vivo. Never been a fan of Samsungs JPEG processing, but I also haven't had a good time editing their raw files either. Thanks for watching!
