Materials :
- 5 mm braided cotton macrame cords, a measuring tape, a tape, scissors
Cords used :
- Handles : 8 cords * 13 ft (396 cm)
- Body : 40 cords * 8 ft (244 cm)
*total of 424 ft (130 m)

So 4 chords for each color and 8 in total right?
@@chiaroscuro5843 Yes, for the handles, that's correct. And then you add 20 of white cords and 20 of sand cords
I have made this bag two times (with little adjustments) and it turned out beautifully! On my third one now!

Is it ok to try with 3mm cord? How can I adjust measurements with 3mm cord?

Love this bag. My sister in law wants me to make this bag but larger to carry an urn with her husbands ashes. The dimensions she has given me are as follows: 360cm H, 220cm W, 150cm D. Could you possible help me to work out cord lengths etc. I’m using 4mm cord. thank you so much Lesley from nz

Hi Rosana, I used 5mm thick Bobbiny cord. If you use cords that are thicker, I would add 12 inches to each cord. But remember your bag will turn out bigger than mine since your cords are thicker. Let me know if you have any other questions😄

I'm trying to do it but I think the rope seems to be too short.. I think the rows need to be longer....
Hi Chiaro,
8ft was plenty of length for me to finish this bag, but one of these could be a reason why you are running out of cords.
Are you using a different type of cord?
If you are using the same type of cord, were the cords stretched when you cut the cords?
You can try skipping the last 4 or 6 rows of square knots and see if that works. I hope this helps😁

Height : 22 inch (56 cm)
Width : 13 inch (33 cm)
Depth : 5 inch (13 cm)
Did you use 130m each? I mean from each colour or the both colours together are 130m? I really need an answer soon! 💕
Hi Lilli, I used 130m for the entire bag. 65m on one side and 65m on the other side. I hope your bag turns out beautiful😍
