It took me a few seconds to figure out what the sound was as you were talking. Yep, the water going down the drain. Anyway, a year ago I bought TREETONE's Oil Spill Mat, 7.4 x 17 Ft, Premium Absorbent Oil Pad. Contains Liquids, Protects Garage Floor from Spills, Drips, Splashes and Stains. Washable, Reusable, Waterproof Rubber Parking Mats. I don't have a drain in my garage. I have just one car. It's on amazon and it currently lists for $130 less a $10 coupon. Granted, it won't help the rest of the floor, but better the mat collects the dirt, etc and not your floor.
I’ll have to check out those mats. It might have prevented the peeling by providing and insulation between the tire and the coating. Thanks for the suggestion.
I had the same result from a previous version of this product. And same conditions as well. So I feel I was part of the problem. Still not sure it would hold where the tires rest.
