Imagine conceiving, writing, rehearsing, and perfecting a live version of this with just four people. A Dotted Line is one of my favorite albums of all time.
Does anyone else think Sarah Watkins is showing some real badassery in this song?
She does in every song hah. My favourite attitude she has is in "Destination" on NPR Tiny Desk
Sara's voice is so perfect here! Great performance by an amazing band!
it is amazing how good that sounds just raw and acoustic... such a talented group!
This group is the absolute BOMB!!!! Amazing how they can duplicate their recorded music to even sometimes sound better. And yes their latest cd is great.
I had the pleasure of meeting Sean and Sara (wanted to meet Chris too) and they are the nicest people on the planet. Took the time to talk with Annie and I. We even stayed in the same hotel :)
Masterpiece. Not a single unnecessary sound or a pause.
I wish I could be in a band like this!
she has an amazing voice
I liked this better than the song's video. The drawings were too creepy! This is perfection.
Mark Schatz always has that same huge grin on his face! Love it
Love it! Plus, Mark Schatz is so cool!!!!
This performance blows my mind everytime I watch it
every time this song came on 'a dotted line' i'd skip it. I thought it was weird...then I learned it was a cover. After hearing the original i really can appreciate their approach.
sara.. "loft" love her inflection!
One of my favorites from their new album!
Still amazing after all these years.
Far out i love this song
I love these guys :)
the best version
Friggin' Great !!
Wow. Fantastic
Yeah man!
This is so metal!
Bwahaha! Don't mess with a Farmer's daughter!
Look at Chris's face! XD
They sound amazing! I think she has a sore throat though :( Hope she gets better soon.
Stop wearing those glasses..And stop murdering good songs.
Huh, I thought mother mother covered it for some reason. Weird, I stand corrected
I never liked the original song, but I absolutely love Nickel Creek's version. People have different tastes, get over it already.
My first thought was, "No way... they're not covering Mother Mother are they?" They totally are! :-) This is great.
Also: Why no credit to Mother Mother on here? :-/
+Brenden Resnick I'm pretty sure that was added later on. Hence the winky face.
