No problem at all! This guide is definitely aimed at F2P, healers and tanks in group content - some extra damage and crit can really help clear solo content that gives great rewards like bygone and wormhole. Healers and tanks aren’t necessarily the best for that type of content so this guide should help everyone clear a few more floors and an extra stage or two!
That's awesome to hear I'm so glad you were able to boost your attack and crit! It's definitely a trade off when it comes to losing some resistance and HP, but if you are an attack/DPS player OR clearing bygone/wormhole you'll really notice the extra damage!
LOL gigachad. YES! Exactly right, you can literally do this as many times as you want - so you can switch between evenly leveling stuff back to high damage/crit.
Dayum. This is such pro gamer move. Since game launch many guides tend to tell people to spread resources for free every 5 level set bonus. And now I'm struggle with low crit while use crow matrices.
LOL it's definitely 5head plays. there is some merit to leveling stuff up evenly - it boosts your CS higher so you can get to higher suppresors faster and it does give "Equipment Level Set" bonuses when you get all equipment to 15, 20, 25, etc. all together. However, if you want to focus on damage in the short term, definitely use this guide and you can always reshuffle stuff back to even to climb to a higher supressor and CS in the long term
I have seen multiple videos about maximizing stats in ToF but they were mostly click bait. It really refreshing to see an actual GOOD video about stats. Thank you for the content. You got my subscribe. :)
Great tip! I sorta did this by accident because I only had a good glove so just leveled it up and ignored the rest. I had no clue you can get your levels back from another piece of gear so this is super helpful. Thanks!
nice tip, till now i was upgrading all of my equipment to the same level just to get the +20 level effect for all my equipment as they are all now lvl 20. Im going to try your method
i was doing the same before too! that method definitely still is good to raise CS and have your character be good all around! but this guide will for sure specifically boost attack and damage
After restatting this way I went from 65% crit to 67%. The loss of hp can be felt, but I was already a glass cannon anyway. This just solidifies it. I'm not sure that 2 percent more crit is worth for me.
Warning: If you're suck at dodging and you're playing via mobile (since dodging there is hard), this method is not for you. Because basically, you'll turn into a "Glass Cannon"; your damage is high but your def/hp is so low. Since every boss will target the highest damage dealer (if without Fortitude in your team). And the chance of getting 1hit by the boss is high
This is definitely true for group content! And it mainly is aimed at DPS/Attack players because we need our Fortitude players to be tanky and our healers to stay alive to heal us. However, this guide helps everyone out for solo content like bygone or wormhole, especially F2P players, as that content gives really good rewards but can be hard to clear- with some extra damage and crit people can advance further on their own
Thanks for making a video about that, from just the reddit post I wasn't sure how to do it. I just did that myself, went from 6500 crit to 7100 and 9400 flame attack to 9500, lost 1.2k CS lol So I guess we could shuffle like this to get higher CS for suppressors and reshuffle for higher crit and attack
it's a good trick. the moment I saw the reddit post (coz I camp there for memes and shts) I immediately tried it. I lost 1.2k cs dropping from 45.8k to 44.6k, my volt atk also decreased by ~100, BUT crit went up by 500+ lol. Thankfully, it's easy to regain the atk plus there are other sources of atk like, food, mia, claudia and tsubasa A1. Meanwhile crit can only go up externally through wormhole and VR buff which you don't enjoy outside those instances. So imo, this tech is good. Just be aware that you're becoming squishier (less resistances and hp) to gain a bit more damage. PS: sadge I still can't clear my current floor in bygone. Chonky tanky infernal lizards should just really drop dead and disappear from there.
Yep you’re exactly right! Really easy to get attack back up and crit is king! You DEFINITELY get squishier but hey you can’t die if the boss is already dead right LOL

So after 35 on gloves, and 10 on everything else, do you aim for 35 on boots? Like i was able to get 25 on boots, and have some leftovers. Am i saving leftovers to get boots to 35 (slow grind) or would i maybe get more out of doing some pieces at 15 (like shoulders for example).
25 is a good sweet spot! I’d get the other attack boosting equipment like bracers and spaulders to 25, then the helmet to around 20 and then push the boots higher! But it’s all up to you these are just suggestions based on the reddit post I referenced!
LMAO bro i read the post and was like i think this needs a video so that more people can see! the post is super super helpful if you are more interested in the process. i really appreciate your comment! :)
Just like Jhii said below, Green equipment is the sweet spot between cheap & easy to acquire AND you lose such a small amount of XP upon recycling that it is virtually indistinguishable (you will get all your levels back)
@@Haythxrn Ah okay. I just didnt wanna use any of the blue dust just for the armor, so Ill just use blue pieces for the parts i dont have. The exp diff really doesnt matter to me. Green gives like 50 exp so its 10 crystals but you get 5 back. Blue is 200, so its 40 but you get 20 back i bet, so you barely lose more, but you dont have to use any limited resource and i got plenty of the crystals already and it will only get more with joint 8 tomorrow.
it will still work! gloves and boots have a standard attack and crit value, these are increased by this process. so once you get even better gloves and boots, your crit and damage will increase even more.
Did it have to be green gear?... I did this just recently but thru a different guide and they did not stress that it has to be green. Is there any loss of materials if I used blue or purple gears? Cause I did not keep track of the levels...
please give me the answer, so the point for this method is for increasing Crit so we can more dealing dmg in Bygones then we can farm more resources for upgrading by sacrifice our CS and some defensive stats... right?
Yes you’re exactly right! This extra damage will help you in bygone, wormhole, and other hard solo stuff. This will sacrifice CS in the short term BUT it’s a reversible process so you could always do the reshuffle back to your old equipment enhancement levels if you want your CS back higher!
Why is it that I follow the equipment reshuffle but then I lost 2 of the random stats? Every time I follow this reshuffle I loose so much extra stats on my volt attack. Seriously how is this beneficial?
I think the extra crit will be super helpful when it comes to solo content for you, like Bygone floors and Wormhole! It's definitely a trade off, so if after a while you aren't feeling it's making a good difference, you can always repeat the process from the guide and put all your equipment enhancement levels back to what they were before! 5K crit is awesome tho!
Green gear is used because it’s very cheap to acquire and you want to save blue/purple/bad gold gear for fusing together equipment star levels (1star through 5star). Hope this helps!
do we lost some resource (booster and advancement module) by recycling equipment level? or its all will be refunded in same amount u have spent? sorry for my bad english
All good no worries! You get 100% of resources back, not a single resource is lost. And you can do this as much as you want - it will always return 100%
@@Haythxrn idk if its good, but after applying this trick i lost about 700 cs, 27k hp, 200 resistance for 500 more crit and 50 more attack. is it worth?
@@rsproject8195 it's definitely a trade off! if you're an Attack player/DPS player, this is definitely worth it - but if you play tank or healer it might be best to keep things evenly enhanced for more health/resistance. you can always switch the gear levels back to what you had before by doing the same process in the guide!
Yes! That’s exactly why! This method is great for clearing solo content and doing more damage in group content like JOs but in terms of upgrading your CS and Suppressor it will set you back a tiny bit
@@Haythxrn I see! So it's possible to do the opposite of this method (min-maxing HP/resist) in order to boost CS enough to reach the next suppressor if I was getting close enough, then switch back. Thank you for clarifying :D
No problem, hope it worked for you! Yeah you'll need a good amount of gold initially to get the equipment levels up in the first place, but if you have them to a high level already, all that gold comes back to you when you recycle the gear
i was 9.1k crt and like 10k volt and after i did this and upgraded my gloves from 25-35 i lost CS ofc but i feel im weaker cause now it increased my crt by 400 and my volt is like 8.8k and like even doing bygone level 194 was a bit hard
It's for sure a trade off putting in resources towards Crit, however when you get some more booster modules and you can start increasing other equipment to get some of that Attack/Elemental Attack, you'll definitely notice it! You can also revert this guide back to how you had your equipment before if you aren't liking your current state - good luck on Floor 194!
@@Haythxrn yeah I have I think 4k+ crit on gloves and close to that on boots. Glad u shared this because yesterday I got crow matrix set so the crit will definitely help the set
I'm assuming that this works with blue equipment or it HAS to be green equipment? And confirmation that recycling the green equipment gives back ALL of the Booster and Advancement modules?
i have only done this myself with green equipment and the Reddit post i referenced has only done this with green equipment so I can't speak to blue equipment - I believe it would work the same but perhaps some EXP would be sacrificed as the EXP % lost for recycling gear is more significant as you progress to the higher tier colors. and yes 100% you get ALL of your resources back when you recycle the green enhanced gear, all gold currency, all advancement modules, all booster modules.
Just focus on getting your gloves to a high level first! They're the most important piece of equipment to have high level. You don't need to get them all the way to 35, you could shoot for 30 or even 25 and then make sure you can still get all your other stuff to at least 10
@@carnage7826 if they’re already 35 you’re good! Get all other equipment to level 10. Then use any spare resources to upgrade your boots bracers and spaulders!
your overall damage and attack is boosted so yes, this means ALL elemental damage increases as a result of your base attack being boosted. frost attack will go up, but so will fire physical and volt!
this is a great point! doing this guide is definitely best AFTER you have cleared the +14 enhancement level for chapter reward. I think at the time of this video MOST players will have passed that already, but that's a really good call out
Personally I've only ever done this with green equipment - there shouldn't be a problem with blue equipment BUT the EXP ratio upon recycling blue is slightly different so you could potentially not have a 1:1 return when you go to re-level your gear. Green is also cheaper to acquire from the commissary, so you're saving resources in that sense too
All my equipment is at lvl like 15 with boots and gloves at 20. Ima just leave it as is and continue using this guide since it isnt really much anyways
I just got this game on ps5. I was a huge genshin player and thought id be the same. I was sorta mistaken. I'm at lvl 43 wanderer and mostly had blue with very little purple. Should I wait until at least all purple or gold maybe?
so ideally i would get my helmet to level 24 to match with my bracers, spaulders, and boots but i literally ran out of materials - i didn't have any advancement modules left so i'll have to wait until my bygone rewards come on Monday morning to enhance the helmet more. hope this helps!
Hey thxrn, can you share your Crit and Crit Rate at Lv. 69? I'm trying to figure out the Crit formula. High crit value is very valuable in calculations.
Ofc! My crit is 10014 and crit rate level around 64%! A lot of it is due to the crit found under the random stats of your gloves and boots- I got really lucky and both have around 3k in crit for random stats. Hope this helps and let me know if you find anything interesting out!
@@Haythxrn i have some grey equipment , those are usable too right? i tried recycling both and see the difference, it only shows the crystal difference
@@owlfx6147 I’m not entirely sure about grey equipment, I used green as that’s what the reddit post I referenced had said to use - green equipment is pretty easy to come by with the Fine Equipment box. If you try it with grey and it works out the same, let me know!
it's definitely a trade off for sure! you will lose a good chunk of HP, so I'd recommend this really only for Attack queued players. HOWEVER, if the boss is dead it can't kill you right? LOL
for overall damage output, crit is more important. the elemental attack will be boosted when your overall attack is boosted too - if you follow this guide, you'll end up boosting your overall attack and it'll boost the elemental ones too.
you want to maximize your gloves out, but getting all your equipment to level 10 is important too. if you're not sure if you can do both, i'd say yeah it's totally okay to just level everything to 10 first and then enhance your gloves further!
After I did this, I lost points in every stat except crit, and I was worried. But I went into bygone to check and I was able to clear the floor I've been stuck on 1st try. I was skeptical but can't argue with results. Nice tip!

Green is ideal because you don't lose much exp after recycling. You're destroying the equipment with recycling.
Will it still help if my random stats and rolls (stars) on the boots and gloves are shit? 👀 Say they lack crit.
it will still work! gloves and boots have a standard attack and crit value, these are increased by this process. so once you get even better gloves and boots, your crit and damage will increase even more.
@@Haythxrn sweet i will try it 👁️👄👁️
Crit: +690
HP: -40.900
Attack: -42
CS: -1.150
Gloves: 35
Boots: 25
Everything else: 10
This is incredible! Thank you! My 50k cs just got alot more valuable! Have my permanent forever sub!
LET'S GO! I'm so hype for you, glad to hear it worked out and thank you for subbing!
Thanks for this vid!
you got it brotha hope it helped!
Did it have to be green gear?... I did this just recently but thru a different guide and they did not stress that it has to be green. Is there any loss of materials if I used blue or purple gears? Cause I did not keep track of the levels...
Wow, this is actually some useful stuff.
here's my subscribe.
thank you so much!
please give me the answer, so the point for this method is for increasing Crit so we can more dealing dmg in Bygones then we can farm more resources for upgrading by sacrifice our CS and some defensive stats... right?
yes
Yes you’re exactly right! This extra damage will help you in bygone, wormhole, and other hard solo stuff. This will sacrifice CS in the short term BUT it’s a reversible process so you could always do the reshuffle back to your old equipment enhancement levels if you want your CS back higher!
this is the content i really want to see very good
thank you so much!
wow for new player this is huge boost crazy tips
yeah for sure! hope it worked out nicely for you!
Why is it that I follow the equipment reshuffle but then I lost 2 of the random stats? Every time I follow this reshuffle I loose so much extra stats on my volt attack. Seriously how is this beneficial?
Thansk for your guide..this is the best guide i have ever know..tysm 👍
aye no problem at all glad it helped!
went from 478k hp to 444k and from 4.3k crit to 5k and 10.6k frost atk to 10.7k
was my loss of hp worth the gains? also went from 41.7k to 40.5k
cs
I think the extra crit will be super helpful when it comes to solo content for you, like Bygone floors and Wormhole! It's definitely a trade off, so if after a while you aren't feeling it's making a good difference, you can always repeat the process from the guide and put all your equipment enhancement levels back to what they were before! 5K crit is awesome tho!
@@Haythxrn thanks man I managed to clear up to floor 260 and ran put of time on 261
@@Haythxrn with effort I might be able to get past 261 but yeh seems good I'll need to do raids void rift and wormhole to verify
Very very nice!!! Super useful video!
thanks so much! glad you enjoyed it :)
great guide and explanation
appreciate that! glad it helped you out!
Maybe use purple gear instead of green/blue gear? I think it'd give more resources once recycled
Green gear is used because it’s very cheap to acquire and you want to save blue/purple/bad gold gear for fusing together equipment star levels (1star through 5star). Hope this helps!
great tip brother! keep it up
thanks so much Ro man!
just question .. after recycle did i get all materials i spent on that gear 100% or lose some?
you will retain 100% of your resources! everything comes back (all the gold, all the booster modules, all of the enhancment modules, etc.)
@@Haythxrn ty so much 😍
do we lost some resource (booster and advancement module) by recycling equipment level? or its all will be refunded in same amount u have spent? sorry for my bad english
All good no worries! You get 100% of resources back, not a single resource is lost. And you can do this as much as you want - it will always return 100%
@@Haythxrn wow, will give it a try and i'll let u know the result. thanks for the answer
@@rsproject8195 yeah definitely let me know! And no problem at all
@@Haythxrn idk if its good, but after applying this trick i lost about 700 cs, 27k hp, 200 resistance for 500 more crit and 50 more attack. is it worth?
@@rsproject8195 it's definitely a trade off! if you're an Attack player/DPS player, this is definitely worth it - but if you play tank or healer it might be best to keep things evenly enhanced for more health/resistance. you can always switch the gear levels back to what you had before by doing the same process in the guide!
3:06 Sweet Jesus.....
LOL lots of resources back!
@@Haythxrn
I'm going to have so much fun. Thank you 👍
@@Aflay1 ofc no problem! Come stop by the stream sometime and say hello
@@Haythxrn
Oh, sweet! You stream? I'll check it out.
@@Aflay1 thanks so much! can't wait to see you there!
Hmmm i don’t really have that much cs to begin with as I just hit 30k the other day...how much will this lower my cs if I’m already low
it lowers CS maybe by 1-2K. you can always do this later on once you get more gold gear and your CS a bit higher!
I did this and my CS dropped. Is it because attack and crit boost CS less than HP, resis, etc?
All you need is to save gold but this is useful. Thanks!
Sry my english is bad but i can do this without glove level 35?, mine are 22 i think
Yeah you can! And there’s no rush to do this, you can wait til you have more resources to level stuff up
@@Haythxrn okay thx, new sub

Very interesting, I've been leveling everything and I already have 10k crit imagine if I did this
DAMN! 10K already… holyyy. You’re gonna be even more cracked now
@@Haythxrn yeah I have I think 4k+ crit on gloves and close to that on boots. Glad u shared this because yesterday I got crow matrix set so the crit will definitely help the set
@@prospectgaming1207 SHEESH w the crow matrixes too you’re gonna be going crazy
@@Haythxrn Confirmed that blue equipment does work. But yes, valid answer that you lose more exp with higher tier equipment
thank you so much i learned a lot from this
aye no problem at all!
do you max out all dps pieces to 35 before to upgrade others or ? thx for the tip btw
Just focus on getting your gloves to a high level first! They're the most important piece of equipment to have high level. You don't need to get them all the way to 35, you could shoot for 30 or even 25 and then make sure you can still get all your other stuff to at least 10
But what if my gloves are already
35, whats next ?
@@carnage7826 if they’re already 35 you’re good! Get all other equipment to level 10. Then use any spare resources to upgrade your boots bracers and spaulders!
@@Haythxrn ok so gloves are 35 all others are 10. Whats next ? Max out all dps pieces to 35 then all resistance pieces to 35 or ?
is crit the only stat that would go up? i want my frost att up as well
your overall damage and attack is boosted so yes, this means ALL elemental damage increases as a result of your base attack being boosted. frost attack will go up, but so will fire physical and volt!
thank you, this helped me a lot
Glad to hear, no problem at all!
made me sub to your channel. :) finding guides like this is gold. again thank you.
@@dizzypaks thank you SO much! I really appreciate the sub
Need to do +14 on all equip though, to complete the last chapter of beginner reward
this is a great point! doing this guide is definitely best AFTER you have cleared the +14 enhancement level for chapter reward. I think at the time of this video MOST players will have passed that already, but that's a really good call out
Very good very nice. Cheers mate
no problem at all, hope this helped you out!
Very helpful, thanks for the tip
aye no problem at all! hope it helped you boost those stats!
What's the problem doing it with blue equipment
Personally I've only ever done this with green equipment - there shouldn't be a problem with blue equipment BUT the EXP ratio upon recycling blue is slightly different so you could potentially not have a 1:1 return when you go to re-level your gear. Green is also cheaper to acquire from the commissary, so you're saving resources in that sense too
@@Haythxrn like i have spare blues so i won't have to buy anything that's why i asked
All my equipment is at lvl like 15 with boots and gloves at 20. Ima just leave it as is and continue using this guide since it isnt really much anyways
yeah that's a good idea! you can always follow this guide later on when you have more resources and equipment!
I just got this game on ps5. I was a huge genshin player and thought id be the same. I was sorta mistaken. I'm at lvl 43 wanderer and mostly had blue with very little purple. Should I wait until at least all purple or gold maybe?
this is really good thanks
you got it no problem!
Wished i knew this sooner
Aye but now you know!
Can i ask why ur helmet only lvl 15?
so ideally i would get my helmet to level 24 to match with my bracers, spaulders, and boots but i literally ran out of materials - i didn't have any advancement modules left so i'll have to wait until my bygone rewards come on Monday morning to enhance the helmet more. hope this helps!
@@Haythxrn could you tell me the exact amount of Crit Rate? I need it to be exact to minimize the margin of error.
Woah great vid 👍
aye appreciate that thank you!
does the recycling the enhancement give back 100% of the resource you use for enhancing?
YES! 100% resources come back!
on a green equipment yes.
@@Haythxrn i have some grey equipment , those are usable too right? i tried recycling both and see the difference, it only shows the crystal difference
what reason why it needs to be a green item just curious

Nice video. Very helpful

You can get the same amount of resources if you recyle leveled weapon ? This is new for me ty mate
yes you get the exact amount of resources back 100% when you recycle the enhanced green gear!

Thanks so much for the sub man! Come check out the stream sometime!
What about your survivability you will become a walking paper when fighting boss right?
it's definitely a trade off for sure! you will lose a good chunk of HP, so I'd recommend this really only for Attack queued players. HOWEVER, if the boss is dead it can't kill you right? LOL
@@Haythxrn my results
Crit 9980 to 10600
Atk 12467 to 12512
Hp 575k to 499k
@@joshuadulot894 NICE! That crit and attack boost is looking juicy - and not too too much HP lost!
I have a question, which one is more important. The crit value or the elemental attack?
for overall damage output, crit is more important. the elemental attack will be boosted when your overall attack is boosted too - if you follow this guide, you'll end up boosting your overall attack and it'll boost the elemental ones too.
I think I’ll do this after I hit CS 55,000 since I’m so close to my suppressor upgrade I need 2k more
sounds like a good plan! Definitely nice to have the Suppressor boost up
Is there a away to raise your crit rate every vid I've seen all there players have 0 crit rate.
Gloves are handguards right?
correct! handguards are the one you want to get as high as you can!
@@Haythxrn thanks i got mine too 35
So u mean that first upgrade glove to 35 then the balance to upg all eq to level 10?
you want to maximize your gloves out, but getting all your equipment to level 10 is important too. if you're not sure if you can do both, i'd say yeah it's totally okay to just level everything to 10 first and then enhance your gloves further!
