    the final formation where Jiu puts her hand in the air, is actually the starting formation of "Scream"

    Did you guys notice that they had callbacks to the choreos for Black or White, Scream, AND Boca in here? Check it out:
    Black or White: the kind of arm pincer move at 1:35 (found during Dami's rap part in the original choreo)
    Scream: the hand in front of the face with the signature devil horns at 1:55, plus the ending pose
    Boca: the signature fanged-mouth hand move at 2:03
    Brilliant work.

    That part at the end where JiU raises her hand up with everyone coming up to it is a total callback to the beginning of the Scream formation where they're forming a "tree" (to symbolize that Tree of Language that's part of the story). The fact that you see the tree "grow", then fade away into the last pose is so cool. Thanks for breaking this down - dancers catch so many details us non-dancers don't and it was neat to see how complex the choreo was when broken down.

      She has the least stamina/energy among all of them and she conserves it differently than the others. That's why it comes off as "lousy" sometimes and why she's against that wall, exhausted.

    I feel like Yoohyeon is really overlooked as a dancer (and not because she's my bias, but as a dancer myself). Her lines, control, isolation and her fluidity is just too good. She knows when to hit a beat really powerfully or really gracefully to make the dance so much more appealing to a viewer. She is of course an amazing vocalist (clearly main vocal material), but she could easily be a lead (or even main) dancer as well.

  • @fawziefuxia
    @fawziefuxia 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The amount of formation changes for this was really insane... And they pull them off so effortlessly and barely even looking at each other?! And I really love those moments where they have fast paced choreo and then one/all members do something to slow the pace down -- it feels like they just stopped time or sth HAHA I love this song and choreo so much!!!

    Hey there let's chat. The front row at audiences' right side view at last second time-stamp video that guy always that fierceful execution? He caught my eyes constantly. Like every single live stage performance o.O
    (That guy is with 2 white pant stripes hanging and pink Nike logo greyish sport shoes plus 4 distinctive yellow characters on his cap)
    He has something that other dancers don't really have hmmmm I don't mean others are bad or something like that but he just extraordinary o.O
    Somehow he's like every dancer's goal? Though I'm not a dancer at the first place at all XD

    • @SeatinReacts
      @SeatinReacts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yesss I definitely noticed him. His execution is super clear and the way he gets to the floor in the last chorus is super cleaaan! I also like the tall guy with the beanie's style.

    Do you have any advice for me? I'm 14, and I really want to start dancing. I've learned the choruses of a few K-Pop songs, but that's about it. I'm not very flexible and I have asthma, but I don't want that to prevent me from dancing because I really enjoy it. I also, could use some streching tips because everytime I've danced or practiced so far, I've been sore for days.

    • @SeatinReacts
      @SeatinReacts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would suggest taking beginner level Hip-Hop foundation classes to start! It may be tough finding a class given the world situation right now, but learning foundations of movement is something I would recommend to anyone. I think TH-cam is a big asset to you as well, since there are many videos online who can walk you through good stretching techniques, but also find classes that warm up with you so you can get into the habit of stretching every time you dance! It will hurt a bit as your body isn't used to moving that way, but with time it will be natural and feel good.
      If you like Kpop, there is a course on Steezy.co with Ellen and Brian who teach choreography, and you can view it from many different angles and speeds. As for the Asthma, I don't have experience so maybe someone else can help you with that one.
      I wish you the best of luck, and keep moving!
