The energy she gives is amazing. It feels so relaxing. It's just like talking to your friend. She is doing a really good job. A great ASMR-tist, indeed.
I don’t know what it is- maybe it’s because you’re so excited at the beginning, and whoever we’re supposed to be is also presumably excited enough that they have underestimated the amount of cans of beans, or maybe it’s because it’s set in this environment where being excited about cans of beans is A Thing, but asmr like this is always really comforting because it’s like “hey these things we wouldn’t have given any thought to when the world was ok now mean the world to us when we find them,” and it kinda feels like a big hope spot even just watching it. Also the enthusiasm of just finding useful things and explaining to us like we’re familiar with them how these ordinary items are actually “the good stuff” (and getting to explain how y’all’ll use them) makes me feel like I’m in on a heist, but somehow more wholesome. Dunno how to explain, but this is both funny and comforting, and if you wanted to make more apocalyptic bean/supplies installments where y’all just explain stuff you found like you did here, I’d fully support it

I went vegan for a while and the liquid from garbanzo beans is called aquafaba, and it's really pretty versatile and would be very useful in trying to make stuff in this sort of situation. You can use it to substitute eggs

Your English is excellent. Do they teach it to everyone over there in Germany? I know your education system is superior to us Americans', but I wasn't sure if they teach everyone English or you had to learn it special.
@@jeremyfrost2636 We get taught in school for at least 7 years if you complete the german equivalent of high school. Although I have to say there's also some people who just don't want to learn so they have a really basic level of English at most. I guess that goes for everything though. If you're interested in something you tend to spend more time on it too. 🤷🏼♀️ But yes, most German schools take it pretty seriously tbf.
@@hanna_maria Interesting. German is an elective (you have to choose to take it, it's not a required course) in the US, as are all foreign languages. They teach you better over there.

this whole concept reminds me of a recurring dream i had as a child where the Earth collided with a huge red space rock, causing an apocalypse, tons of people had to move places because the red rock debris had destroyed many buildings etc, and for some reason in my dream the only foods left in stores near my flat were canned peaches and mint chocolates
I have similar dreams. Except it's a zombie apocalypse, and my fav anime characters are there. (The zombies claimed 2 of them)

@@bambisbluebell Well, Ray Liotta actually was partial owner of a honey-farm that produced "Ray Liotta Honey," which in itself is just sort of an odd bit of trivia imo. This is a post-apocalyptic barter video. Given that Ray Liotta played quite a few psycho characters, it just seems fitting and funny, to me anyway. I'm sure she could have chosen any brand or not even revealed the brand, so the intentionality of it seems to be for humor purposes. Maybe I'm over-thinking it.

Definitely didn't know I wanted post-apocalyptic asmr, but this is brilliant. Some sounds that might be cool and topically appropriate: dry beans/grain, freeze dried crunchy foods and their wrappers, camping coffee percolator, campfire, alcohol penny stoves make a weird whooshy hiss when they're on.
