My family came from framers. My cousin's in Illinois farmed as did my Grandfather. My cousin's husband farmed till he was in his 80's. The farm was started in 1865 after the War. I love to rest in the upstairs bedroom looking out over the cornfield at night. If I had to choose another profession I would hope it would have been farming. There is just something about the soil.
