I struggle with chronic pain as well. I have had a degenerative arthritic condition in my spine and joints for many years. That shoulder injection was too familiar to me, but I have since had shoulder surgery with 4 pins and one joint completely removed, and now need an urgent surgery in the spinal column in my neck. I understand how it feels and wouldn't wish that on anyone.
I also struggle with panic disorder and severe anxiety as well, so I appreciate this film.

So does she actually have full blown lupus? I know several years ago in an interview with Larry King she stated she had "borderline lupus". Or is this chronic pain from her hip surgery? Or both? I feel so bad for her.

Heather she has Fibromyalgia. She tweeted about it the other day & I think she shows and talks about it more in her upcoming documentary #GagaFiveFootTwo on September 22nd. I knw that she had hip surgery and sometimes traumatic events, surgery & they think genetics can play a role in the cause or start of fibromyalgia. Like Gaga I had some traumatic events in my life and in 07' I had a cervical spinal fusion that started my 10 yr journey of Chronic pain and Fibromyalgia. Also so many in my family has some sort of autoimmune like lupus, RA, Insomnia , chronic pain , ibs, anxiety, depression, and fibromyalgia. So I think a bunch of things together in a life can lead up to the onset of fibromyalgia. But yes she was diagnosed with borderline lupus and I think her hip surgery brought on the fibromyalgia. Idk? Her full story, just pieces and I hope that her Netflix Documentary really sheds some light on her chronic pain story. I feel bad for her too, I know what its like to be in pain. , I have Fibromyalgia With lots of other Chronic pain Issues, so I do understand some of what She's Going through. She's actually in the hospital now for severe pain 😢 💔 I do know she's getting the best treatment. Good question ❤
