I have a hunch that Arata and Chizuru will accidentally meet each other as adults, since they spend their free time without the ReLIFE effect. The manga is over 170 chapters long so it should be ending soon. I also see Ryo and An pairing up, too.
That's not true, they're always subjects of the Relife effect even when they're at home or during their free time, Arata was the only exception but he had an excuse which was to visit the grave of his senior as an adult and that was the only exception, once they take the re life pill they can't return to being adults until the experiment is over so I don't know what you're talking about (this is also the case in the manga so far) and yeah the manga is at chapter 176 and it doesn't seem like it's ending anytime soon, plus this new season is only 4 episodes and the first season covered up to around chapter 100
These ova's are gonna be the ending. And what he meant is that when they complete the relife experiment, they will become adults again, forgeting each other. But they will problably meet again to get a happy ending.
what u mean forget each other? didnt they say in the anime that the people doing the experiments would keep their memories, but the others would forget them? so the two doing the experiment get to keep their memories, that atleast what i remember.
Vivik Yes, ReLIFE subjects do get to keep their memories, but everyone else loses their memory of that subject. So once the experiment ends, Kaizaki will lose of his memory of Hishiro since she was a subject, and then same thing vice versa for Hishiro. However, if you're not already reading the manga, it explains it more in depth whereareas I cannot give you spoilers. As of the moment I'm writing, there is one chapter left of the ReLIFE manga.

I dont know if the live action ReLife was based on the real ending in manga. If so its cringeworthy :(
