    Going on a walk in the morning makes me happy - the brisk air when it's cold outside makes me appreciate it, and the warmth on my fingers when I put them in my pocket. When it's warm, I enjoy walking and feeling the beauty of the sun on my skin.

    I watched till the end. Some of the simple things that make me happy are cuddling with my pets and my son especially on a chilly day then sitting out in the garden in the sunshine, a cup of Chai tea, a little bit of extra free time to read a book and cutting open an avocado for my morning avocado toast and finding that it's perfect!

    Me too! Marisa helped me see depression in an entirely different, logical way. I wish I had known this 30 years ago. It would have made my life so different and so much better. But better late than never!!!

    i've taken 4 harvard courses so far since march, then i won a scholarship to become a reiki master. will finish that before xmas. i also joined WW and lost 15 lbs then quit bc it stopped working so now i'm working out 3 times a week.

    I am happy that I have access to internet. I can see such amazing informative TH-cam videos.
    I am happy about the moon, about having nice pullovers, good earphones, a very good manager, lots of food to eat, learning self love etc etc.
    Wow , now that I have noted it down, I understand I have many things to be happy about.

      @@mrunal3584 Reduce negative thoughts. Its quite simple with some patience.. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe your natural incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 10-15 minutes or more. Let thoughts come. Slowly negative thoughts will reduce and relax the mind. Whenever you are free during the day or night before sleep sit or lie down still for a few minutes and observe your breath. Being still reduces negative thoughts. Feel the stillness flow within you. Make this a daily habit for a lifetime. . Do the above meditation daily to have a good life. Best wishes and prayers.     I am so happy to be alive and have a roof over my head. I am so happy to have kids that I love. I am so happy to have food to eat and clothes to wear. I am so happy that I have a job and income and I am choosing to live in the moment and my life is completely fabulous just the way it is!

    I did these set schedule 17 years ago when we decided I would stay home to be a caretaker. I set the schedule for myself and, I know children need structure and schedules.
    However, I failed at REWARDING myself. My only reward was getting up early in the morning and having my ‘ME’ time (prayer time, my first cup of coffee ☕️ time, and my shower 🚿 in the morning time). The rest of my day, belonged to others-children, husband, mother, others.
    To this day, I’m working now very hard at learning to ‘reward’ myself.

    Marissa, I'm finding your videos very helpful! I have an idea for a new video. Can you please make a video on how not to clench or grind your teeth at night when you are asleep? The condition is called "Bruxism.' I was using a night guard to protect my teeth from wearing down from clenching at night, but the darn thing misaligned my back teeth, so I've stopped using it. I think bruxism is a fairly common problem, so you'd be helping a lot of people. Thank you!

      @@Loosecook instead of focusing on everything that isn't going well I started being truly greatful for what I have. I have spent 100s of hrs researching mindfulness, depression, relationship, health ect instead of scrolling and wasting time. Looked at myself with an outside perspective. Trying to change for the better. Look in to impact theory on TH-cam.

    Like all of Marissa's videos that I've watched, this one is full of helpful tips.
    The only thing that throws me off is the sound that comes up with onscreen messages. I find it very distracting, especially because I am usually listening with noise-canceling headphones while I do housework, etc..

    This is truly a motivational video. I've transitioned from what I was doing when I started listening to what I'm doing now while I'm still listening! Things that will give me a feeling of satisfaction; and I will accomplish more in other areas of my life as well having done these things. I am in my happy place!
