What are the changes that needs to be carried out in release creation profile which must schedule after every 2 weeks?

Hello you need to define a external procurement estrategy in SPRO-production-kanban-Replenishment strategies-define external procurement strategy. Create one for agreements and assign the agreement number in control cycle transaction code PKMC.

Hi, is it necessary to generate JIT with forecast, can we not go ahead only with forecast only with- No aggregation, daily, weekly and monthly in creation profile?

It is possible or you can only trigger jit and do not trigger forecast. But the forecast helps suppliers to be able to deliver in time.

    Hi sir...
    My requirement is
    JIT - Monday . Wednesday . Friday.
    FRC - Only Thursday.
How to configure release creation profile for this requirement

The main principle of JIT is to have the material just at the time it is needed, if you try to group requirements then you are not having a puré JIT. To group requirements other alternatives exists like time phased mrp type or lot sizing procedure.

Hi can you explain how this will be processed in SAP SD

    • @sapfromalogisticsmasterand8639

Sure, Vikram: you can create a Sales Scheduling agreement going through the next path
Logistics-> Sales and distribution-> Sales -> Scheduling agreement -Create.
Or you can use transaction code VA31.
In the transaction: Enter document type (normally LP) or (LZJ for JIT) and the sales area:
In the document enter: sold to, ship to, reference, valid period and enter the item(s) you want to mange with this scheduling agreement. Select the item and click on the icon item details.
If you selected document type “LP” go to the tab schedule lines and enter the schedule lines at date basis.
If you selected document type “LZJ” go to the tab forecast delivery schedule enter the schedule at time basis.
      Hope this information helps.
      Best regards!
