I have watched multiple videos of Roti maker machine. Best method is, first use roti maker to make it a perfect circle, and the last step is use gas to heat and make fluffy rotis. This machine is only useful to give circular shape to chapati without practice.
Making Roti in a Roti maker is an highly skilled job and not everyone can do it 😂
I have learnt it after a lot of practice 😂 using it for more than 3 years now. It works. But Roti is not textured as hand made.

One question. Can you only use it as a roti pressar. Means, if I want to use it only to make round dough and then wish to use Tawa to do rest. Without using temperature or plugging the switch, will it flatten the dough to a flat round shape chapathi

I wish to go for Prestige 5.0 model as it can make normal size chapatis, but someone told me that if you dont start temperature (in this model), then dough will not spread like round chapati. I wish to check from someone who are using electrical roti maker, if they can use it to make round shape without using electric plug in. As you hv told, we can. But hv you tried it or its just a guess? Thank you again.
@@harishreddy8583 I have tried today after your comment. Your friend is right, without heat, the dough will stick on the surface a little (though it is non stick). But if you use there extra Atta or Maida, then it is not sticking. You can do one thing, that I tried now. plug the roti maker for 2-3 minutes and switch it off. Then you can press the dough and release. Dough will be in round chapati shape but still not properly burnt.

My mom does use it since 5 6 yrs in that she changed 2 roti makers it's good and one having knowledge how to use it then we can Aram se use it ,
1)the dough shld be little sticky and don't put that sticky dough direct dip in dry aata and then press it using roti maker
2)and use tava to roast it instead roti maker just used to press it then it'll be same as normal hand made roti
