  • After almost three years of fostering two young boys, it looked as if PJ and Kristina would be able to adopt them. However, the boys’ father, Josh, notified the agency that he was getting out of prison and would do whatever he needed to get his boys back. PJ, Kristina, and their kids were heartbroken. But Josh soon realized how much PJ and Kristina’s family genuinely loved his boys, and saw how they’d opened their hearts to him, too.

you made me cry! I'm so very happy you got an open foster situation. I've been a daycare teacher, a nanny, and a disability group home aid. Losing my kids hurts every single time. It's been a decade and I still wonder if anyone understands Angela's sign language. . . I wonder if Luke is on track to graduate high school. They NEVER stop being your kids.

I came from a very terrible violent broken home. I always said when I get married I will do what it takes to stay married. It has been 39 years now. A Daughter 2 grandsons and a granddaughter. The only thing I wish was knowing about adoption after my daughter was born. My wife could no longer have a child. I would have adopted a boy so my daughter could have had a sibling.
