Does this happen in the fall also?

39 degrees!! water is at its most dense, and triggers turn over!!

I swear this lake has 60 lbs bass. Something snapped 60 lb steel leader.
Sheared it off like butter. Hit super hard while pole mounted to ground in a mount. Almost snapped the rod. 1 second. Wham....zzzzz tink....
Given this is a small lake. Biggest penn spinning reel and 12 foot surf rod and 60lb spider wire. You tell me? The f?

No. Turnover is a spring phenomenon.

I need a job and you might think about using someone with a science background or who can do research. Ice floats, its not dense its light and the reason it floats, warm water rises just like warm air. Water is most dense and sinks at 39 degrees triggering a turn over which should happen twice a year, once at spring melt off and fall while freezing. Turn over is sinking of the cold surface water and rising of warmer water on the bottom, reverse this in fall. Oxygen and Nutrients are distributed top to bottom of water and disturbs the fish similar to post spawn.Hydrogeology 101 water is most dense at 39degrees.

Should happen twice a year in fall water cools and hits the magic number of 39 degrees and guess what?? it sinks and the warm water rises so it can freeze and YES it turns over.

    What happened to Canada?
Its like Canadians are prisoners in their own country.
