Thank you so much for watching my video. I try to keep my videos short and try not to ramble on lol. I know what you mean, I do list stuff that i wish games would add, but I try not to be to negative as thats to easy, you can fault anything if you want too, but also have to remember that VR is still young, so not everything can be perfect, but besides which... this game is near perfect in my eyes. I cant wait to see footage on ITR2 when it comes out, though Quest 2 and 3 users will have to wait a year or 2 more. Thank you again for your advice, its always appreciated. Let me know your thoughts here if you buy the game. 🙏
@@GotchaVR Gotcha. Makes sense then, you explained it how you experienced it. Sometimes videos without negatives make me think someone could be honeymooned or biased but I get your perspective! I did buy it! I appreciated your review, it was one of the final videos I watched before buying it. Also bought a few others, Hubris, Deisim, Moss, Per Aspra, and Little Cities (I also need to get on with Asgards Wrath 2, I just haven't been drawn back into it yet). Not sure if you have reviews on those yet either but if so I'll check them out. I'll definitely give ITR a try within the next two weeks. I do have the Oculus 3, but I don't spend too much time gaming, so I suspect it may take me a year or so to complete the games anyways. I'll let you know how it goes!
@@Viceman256 that’s awesome! You went on a right shopping spree! 🤣 Hubris is great, I completed it, but I have to do it again on the Q3 so I can review it. Little cities is an hours killer, it really depends on if you like those style games, i reviews that one. Asgard’s I really enjoyed until I encountered a bug during my second character, I completed a quest but it’s not showing as completed.. so I can’t progress, so have played it now in 5/6 weeks. I just found out today that the studios won’t be funding Assasins creed anymore either because it didn’t do as well as they hoped, it’s done really well, but just not as high as they wanted, which goes back to what I was saying… VR is still very young, so everyone needs more patience and encouragement to really make it and develop. Also, makes my day that my video helps sway your decision or helps make up your mind, so thank you again 🙏
Yeh, I think it's just the magnification scopes in particular, Im sure I remember other scopes being ok, I don't really tend to use scopes much anyway, but can see how this might be a deal breaker to some people.
@@IcebergPizza ah right, see I swear I had arms a couple years ago when I played on Q2 as I remember having my knife attached etc... I didn't really notice on the Q3 until you mentioned it.
Good review as always... As a fan of games like Half Life 2 this appeals to me as it seems to have a similar vibe BUT i have a feeling it doesn't have much of a story so may hold off and see what ITR2 is like.
Thank you so much for watching. There is a story, but it's not a strong one... but the game sure is a lot of fun. I had an absolute blast playing this through the first time... and I enjoyed it as much the second time on the harder setting.
I've not played Strides fate so i can't comment, but Into the radius is right up their! Resident Evil is awesome! I have so many games i need to replay and review, not enough time lol.@@reefermon7048
@@GotchaVR thank you mate for the reply I did get resident evil just trying to get 1 or the other between ITR or Strides fate leaning towards stride and just waiting for the ITR 2 .
@@reefermon7048 They are 2 very different games though, but Im sure i heard there was a few problems with Strides Fate (though i cant remember what they where, so maybe look into that first. But ITR is certainly one of my favourite games I've played in VR, but its slower paced than Strides Fate.
I’m playing on quest 3 and mine is nowhere near as bright as this, it’s frustratingly dark actually. Scopes are unusable as well beyond pistol range because they’re too dark. Is this actual 3 footage??
Thanks for your quick review, I'd only suggest maybe listing your cons, so we can get a balanced idea of the game.

this game is just the best, i just need some update for the dark scope

This is a old video but I recommend you enable arms on quest 3
I didn't realise this was an actual option, Is there much difference?
Not really but having arms makes the game feel more immersive

Oh that doesn’t sound right! Is it just on this game or all games? Yes this is Quest 3 footage.
Hi! Are these footage from pcvr version of the game?
No, I only do Meta Quest.
game is shite
It won't be for everyone.
