  • Action on Conrail's Chemical Coast around Port Reading, NJ the first two weekends of September, after some of my friends and I were drawn out to Port Reading in the early morning two Sunday's in a row for some rare Canadian locomotives being used by the Conrail refinery job. The foreign power came in the form of a former CitiRail ES44AC now owned by the CN, and a BCOL blue Dash-9 being led around by a CN SD75I, both of which came off of CSX ethanol trains from Chicago. Also included in the video is an NS 64K being drilled by Conrail with an increasingly rare for our area SD70ACU and KCS ES44AC. Enjoy!
