And sir the gates are arranged in which pattern in the processor. Are they arranged in a particular manner or they are arranged just like lattice points so that we can join the points in whichever manner we want??
Hi I am your senior, 1st year UG Well I may help you little bit in your question. The language we humans use is a high level language and computers use low level language i.e. 0's and 1's only. when you code something in a particular programming language like c,c++,c#,java,etc. you are writing a source code i.e. directing the computer machine to do a particular work but this language will not be understand by computer as it is not composed only of 0 and 1. There comes the role of a compiler , a compiler converts this programming language source code to the machine language (binary) and after compilation your computer performs your work and gives output. Now in java we have another case called as byte code and os independent platform language . You will learn it more in you engineering.
The codes get converted into binary through the compiler which inturn runs the program by fatching the voltage value in processor which are actually arranged in pattern ( of logic gates that are at the size of atomic scale in recent development of chips)
