It helps to mention that for most of these cars, the entire speedometer cluster has to be removed to access the screw on the left side of the vents. This car in the video has had the cluster out before and someone removed the left side screw before reinstalling the cluster.
@@boeingflyer2 Thanks for the info. I wonder if that's a much-needed redesign on the newer 124's. I've got a 1989 300 CE...I'm going to grab a flashlight and see if mine is the screw type or those handy clips. Sure is 10 times easier with clips!!
Probably someone closes completely the central vent since it gives cold weather even in winter. In order to open that we should remove the central vent am i right? And why did you lauged when you see the cable is hidden :) I couldn't understand. Thanks for the video
Congrats for confirming bulb integrity before reinstalling!
Thank you very much thanks to you your video, it helped me a lot to install the air vent on the Mercedes W124 250D turbo

Nope, no screw on the left side.
@@boeingflyer2 So is it just a friction fit on the left side? Every other video says there's a screw. Does that one have a clip or something?
HANK HILL , yup, upper and lower clip on the left side accessed through the vent with small flat head screw driver.

Bulp only this air way ?it's didn't have on the right and left?
You need to use a steering pin that goes just beside where the screw goes in.

După centre se fixează și se înșurubează pana na capăt , nu se reglează din șurubu de fixare
E doar Pt aer natural nu trece prin radiatoare
