I personally think that black cabs and the hackney carriages are salty that they have real competition, yes you’re upset that someone else is making money that would have been yours but it’s a free market.
To have protests over this in my opinion just shows how salty they are. It’s like a kid throwing a temper tantrum that they can’t have it their way anymore.
@@AbChad. it's pretty deep. The York Station Permit Holders Alliance was going to strike but didn't after London North Eastern Railway (LNER) agreed to meet one of their key demands. Could of done a full video just on that drama. 🤣

In london you can get a 130 fine and a stop notice for waiting in a taxi rank as it’s considered “plying for hire”

Denny Regarding oasis tickets they came out with a price demand surged and them prices increased what's afe your thoughts on that?
Hello, all around the world prices of almost everything is set by supply and demand, diamonds, energy costs and lets not forget toilet roll in lockdown (lol)
A good eg of this is prime drinks, £8 a can at one point, but little by little they dropped to 50p (Low demand). I think the point that was being made by the lady in the video is why put the price at £8 for the sake of it (the fairs on bank holiday/xmas) if no one buys it (takes a uber) and you have a warehouse full of them (drivers trying to get time and half pay).
Bit of a strange thing to put it that way. anyway personally am really not surprised it happened with the oasis tickets. If the band didn’t sell them at that price, people would be reselling them with a bigger price tag. This type of thing has been going on forever. We are all quite acquiesce about it.
The price will go up when everyone else has gone. But the driver won't get it they will get less just like they have done in America.
Not really sure. It will ever get like America here. they have no taxi licencing or local authorities to deal with there. They don't have worker rights and so on. (Well hopefully it won't get like that 🤣)

@@DriverDenny no I've been looking into uber and lyft they are being sued everywhere. I've been talking to people in America .
Drivers think they are taxis so they park in taxis bays .they not taxis they are private hire drivers .

Lord Nelson Street police cars park in taxi rank 365 days a year 24 hours a day. Think police think they are taxis too.
