- Welcome back to another video. In this video we take a look at a new coffee machine we have purchased for our campervan - the Outin Nano.
Rich goes into detail about this battery powered espresso machine - detailing specs, weight, charge time and much more.
Following this he uses the machine to make both a pod espresso and a ground coffee espresso, and shows it can be used almost anywhere (provided the battery is charged).

I have the Outino Nano and I discovered that the spare portafilter fits snuggly in the water resevoir when not in use. Great video!

Before putting your shower screen on your filter basket, always always ALWAYS clean up the basket rim from coffee grounds. Otherwise you are slowly damaging, and eventually destroying, your shower screen and your basket and their seal.

good review. i like the inclusion of the cleaning part, you don't see that in most reviews.
I'd just jump straight to Chapter 5 - that's extracting with ground coffee.

We've been using a cheap coffee maker that we bought in Mexico 3 years ago. Would love to upgrade one day.

Hi. Thx for a great review. All reviews on this machine seems positive, so I'm getting one. Just wondering if you ever make cuppocino in the van and if so, how you do the milk. I'll be using my Outin Nano on motorbike trips mainly. Would appreciate feedback
Hi, thank you. Having now used the Outin Nano for a few months it’s definitely a great coffee machine! You won’t regret buying one.
I would say it works better when you put boiling water in it. Mainly because of speed and when it boils the water itself it’s not super hot. That said though if it’s being used on the go- such as on hikes or as you say on motorbike trips it will work really well.
To be honest I only really drink black coffee so don’t really have a solution for this. I guess if I did want to I would probably froth the milk up with one of those battery operated drink whisks.

Get a mini french press, and put in hot milk and pump the top. Reasonable.
Hi, great review! Did you have a chance to test their claim of being able to brew 4-5 cups of espresso on a single battery charge? If it is true with normal room temperature water, I'm putting my order immediately
Hi, thanks for watching. Having now used the machine for a while I would say in the real world it probably only does 3 to 4 espresso shots on a full charge- based on room temperature water. However, it does make a difference how much water you are putting through per shot. Hope this helps.
Just wanted to know if you think the reusable pods would work on this machine?

I’m not sure on this. I’ve recently been looking at the reusable pods but not tried one. I would think if they work in a Nespresso machine then they would work fine in the Nano, I am not sure though. Sorry I can’t be more help.
Bonjour à tous j'ai acheté cette machine expresso portable marque outin de 20 bars de pressions avec l'accessoire supplémentaire Basket plus indispensable qui permet d'avoir une dosette en aluminium plus volumineuse qui peut contenir 18 g de café moulu avec le poussoir en aluminium inclus dans le coffret Basket plus et par contre je l'utilise en mettant de l'eau chaude chauffer avec ma bouilloire indépendamment sinon ça use trop de batterie mais j'en suis très content car ça fait du très bon café
The capsules you use is a Starbucks ones?
Yes they are the Starbucks Nespresso ones 👍🏻
When I use cold water, it produces a little foam, why?
How strange, I’ve not experienced that with our one. No idea why that happening to yours. Sorry we can’t be more help.
I have been waiting for my order for 2 weeks. they do not respond to emails. I received a fake tracking number. I don't recommend it.😢😢😢
Oh no! That’s terrible. I’m so sorry to hear that. Hope you receive it soon. We purchased ours from Amazon, not sure if that made a difference.
My tracking number was of no use as well. But it arrived on time. Have faith. I love my outin nano. It's really well made. Boiled water is the way to go as a full cycle of charge will only be needed once in a while vs daily.
