- Xcelerator is a steel launched roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Xcelerator was Intamin's first hydraulically-launched coaster. Xcelerator is the fourth Intamin installation at Knott's. The other three were: The Sky Cabin, Bigfoot Rapids, and Perilous Plunge.

Me and my dad went to knotts and It was SO EMPTY we went on Xcelerator 26 times ALL IN THE FRONT. Best day of my life...
I've been on his ride like 5 times. I sat in the front each time. It's a blast!

This was the first rollercoaster I ever rode. Got in it when it first opened and I was 6 at the time. Was awesome.

The closest park to me is the great Escape and even that's 3 hours away so I don't have any good parks near me exept Hershey but that's 4 and a half

I like this coaster because we have something similar in England called stealth at surrey Thorpe park but I like this better because it’s like an extended version of stealth and I like it more in general

the launch is WAYY scarier than the drop. like when i went on this my body was still processing the launch that i barley felt the drop

I am able to handle pretty intense roller coasters, but this one is just plain old frightening looking. Went to Knotts 2 days ago and I was a bit too scared to go on. Okay maybe a lot :-/

btw idk if lim is the same as hydraulic but i think thats when magnets pull you instead of a hook attached to a motor pulling you
No, LIM is not the same as hydraulic, and California Screamin' wasn't even close to being the first LIM launch coaster. But Xcelerator WAS the first hydraulic launch coaster.
