But I am very interested in the prices overseas, how expensive are they, actually?
Depends on the season, when it's fruiting season, the price crashes, those one I buy are those that the stall holder pack into your typical styofoam makan boxes for take out, simply because there's just too many... Those pack in styofoam can go as low as SGD$1 each.

That's the problem with a lot of people who hate durian. They ate the several days old durian that isn't fresh anymore. Or worse, the packaged ones. Your first experience should be a fresh one, less than a week old since it fell off the tree. The most ideal methode is if you have a SEA friend who can pick the good ones from the market.

Idk what the unholy scent that 50 percent of people can smell when they sense a durian near by is, because when I try it or see it just smells like any other fruit that has a paste base texture & it's sweetness is only a few levels below sugar cane's sweetness, instead of juicy texture like citrus fruits
