Glad ya’ll got a good haul with this hive. Hey some idiot posted on fb to “keep & protect tallow trees” because they’re good for bees. I wrote “so you want us to protect an invasive species to feed an invasive species”….because tallow trees are invasive here in SE Tx. Some folks are so dumb! 🙄 Any crazy thing for the EHB! 🙄
Argued with coworkers about how European honeybees are invasive and especially Africanized bees... They still say I'm believing conspiracy theories ...ughh
That's OK then get that individual to buy a beesuit and go with killer bee guys for a job. Let's see how long they keep that stupidity up. I'm in the UK and even I know these bees aren't meant to be in the USA. Invasive means invading species a species not for that environment and will populate on a mass scale to destroy native species. It's not conspiracy it's a basic truth.
I don't know how you guys do this in that heat. I'm in WV, no AC in house (just fans) & the times it gets over 90 here are unbearable and the times I've gotten heat exhausted is scary.
It used to be a lot worse before the KBN got us cooling devices, electrolytes and other things to help us along. The cooling vests that Don Sharr got us with the extra inserts that MedTek got us and the Buoy drops that MedTek found for us have literally saved our hides. And all the other goodies from KiKi and everyone else!
Post your disclaimer on not using demonstrations of the smoke or power washing equipment do to property damage and the bees don’t smoke anymore they are to hard to stay lit and flame throwers are getting to hard to throw anymore, also hand grenades are banned.
