I bought one of these drones a few weeks ago, only got around the setting it up recently, but the propeller blades were already installed on the drone as it came in a much larger box. All I needed to do was charge it up and install a few batteries, but for some reason nothing happens, and on the controller it seems to be indicating that there's something that needs to be done to the propellers, can't think what as they were already installed inside the box, but maybe they have been installed incorrectly or that they need readjusting or removing. Not sure if that's how the propellers are supposed to move but they don't rotate very fluidly. The battery indicator displays all bars so the batteries should be OK.
Nice looking spread. Plenty room to fly. My ranch is too rolling hills and trees n.brush. I expected you to deal with that outta line motor banging on the body.? Hmmm. Love that tractor. My old IH 444 is 2 wheel drive. It's is a limo.
Great review Tigger I am waiting for replacement parts for mine. It's a good quad but even when I was completely aware of the throttle down disarm sequence I still managed to destroy mine. Mine seems to disarm without even bottoming out the throttle, just hovering the throttle to low will disarm. The video quality looked pretty good👍
Thanks Steve, yes I forgot about you and checking that gravity still on LOL sounds weird and kinda dumb for any sort of throttle down to disarm a quad, mine will definitely be going for the full Tigger test scenario, flight next then play time ;-)
+Tigger's RC Reviews You must try manual flips, I didn't even think of trying. I think if you strip it down with no legs or camera you'll make it flip. I will cry laughing if you can do it 😂
Well this will give it away, but, always a but! you can't do it as you can't turn off altitude hold therefore the motors don't get cut fully, well apart from your ones ;-) yep I tried everything, and I have an arsenal of things to make it flip, no go my friend :-(

Have you got some trim adjustments? You can tell if you have by one trim click up and them back one, if it make noise then it is centered, or just take batteries out of TX and put them back in and try. If not you may just need to add trimming. Hope you get it sorted Glad you enjoyed the video :-)
The video looks very good and stable so is everything stock? I have read reviews to stay away from the Syma and go with the Tarantula X6 or the Sky Vampire. This video changes my mind completely.
yep everything stock, I have videos on Tarantula X6, never had a Sky Vampire, only you can decide what you want from a quad and what to go for, good luck

Hi john, welcome to the channel and hobby, you are going to love it, well I hope so anyway. I don't belong to any clubs and that side just doesn't interest me TBH but must be some around you just search RC Club etc if you wind up with cars as well they are great for British weather, cars don't get affected by wind ;-) If I can help I will always try to, loads of stuff around the channel for developing ideas and skills with the hobby, have a great Christmas, take it easy with your first flights, it only takes a few goes and it all starts to drop into place ;-) let me know what you get and how you get on, cheers
BY the way just a question. Do your SYMA behave strangly in altitude hold when the camera is mounted off? Because mine kinda was to go up, and is actually not stable at all. I put on the camera, and its stable flight again. Why I wondering is because of this Supreme admnistration court has made drone use with camera not legal. YOu could actually get 1 years of prison-time if you get supinad. So I have to fly the quad without the camera. And When I saw you flying it without both legs and camera, it didnt seem to be so unstable? But min is much better to fly when its a little heavy.
Not had a problem with mine with or without camera actually not a bad little sports, well large sports flyer and then smooth for camera work. It shouldn't really affect it, but you know quads anything that could happen probably will ;-)
I have been searching for days, but I can't find the connector type of those batteries... Someone knows the name of this connector? (It's not HXT 3.5) so I can use a better charger. (Need the connector to banana plug or deans / t plug)
O always thought they were called HXT 3.5mm or the blue ones are EC3, seen them in both colours with some manufacturers :~) but I guess I must be wrong. I just use crocodile clips on mine, never had a problem ;-) hope you get it sorted cheers
The blue ones should be EC3 or EC2, but Syma modifies their connectors so it looks like HXT but it's not kinda annoying but yeah. Found an Ebay seller that seems to have the right cable just takes over a month to ship it.
Like I say crocodile clip fits well and I charge on my Imax B6 no problem. If you are in UK these guys have been very helpful to me stores.ebay.co.uk/rcstockroom/ and they even know my channel :-) Off to fly this afternoon....weather permitting...aaaaagh bet it's gonna rain!!! LOL cheers

Hello Brother tnx for the video and i want to know plz why my x8hw don't work fine. the drone is very unstable, doesn't respond the control and made me crash very seriously because even trying send it back to the ground, the drone was going higher. any help?
I assume you have calibrated it, this usually sorts most issues. If a motor is going it usually flies badly but will always do the same thing every-time you try to fly. Hope you get it sorted

Not sure I fully understand you question, but pretty sure motors will continue to spin in a crash, most do until you disarm or kill the throttle, if that wasn't your question let me know, cheers

Its gears ( plastic ) of motors may have worn out so . Change them

question how long the battery last after I charge it for 2 hours.im definitely gonna get extra battery and balance charger.
Flight time around 12 minutes ;-) You will wonder how you ever managed without one, once you get a decent charger ;-)
