I think meat is a big culprit- from own experience. I now do a whole plant based diet with minimal animal products and my health keeps improving all the time.
@@BenRoberts12 That is actually a severe disadvantage as healthy iron levels are very tight in our body. Facilitated uptake makes iron levels shoot up to toxic levels.
I think there connection between hemochromatosis with hypercalcemia.. Could hemochromatosis be created by parathyroid hyper activity bcs blocked enzymes or some channels by calcium

yeah heme iron is alot more readily absorbed than non heme
