Iron Halo not activating while sprinting is a known bug. I think they tried to fix it in 5.0 or 5.1, but Im not 100% sure. That and the heavy bolter not firing till after swapping weapons when you load into a mission are the 2 bugs that Im certain the devs are working on.
I've recently come across a bug when playing sniper. My rifle is not in my hands and I cannot fire. Had to repeatedly swap weapons before it came back. Than there's the issue of my parry getting canceled out with the knife when a horde is attacking me at the same time an elite is. Though not sure if that's a bug or intended.
Haven’t had a problem with the main weapon not being able to shoot but because of 5.0 and 5.1 the iron halo not being able to turn on while sprinting is definitely dumb and needs fixing.
I play heavy ( with heavy bolter ) as main. By far my favourite class for ruthless and lethal difficulty. It starts to shine as soon as you get your hands on relic weapon ( accuracy variant ).
So, I have played hundreds of runs as heavy on lethal and have noticed multiple bugs that have not been fixed, the iron halo bug only started appearing after 5.0. 1. Iron Halo is not working while moving (as you mentioned) it is also not moving in the direction the player is facing and "sticks" at certain angles. 2. Weapons have a chance to "jam" after being revived. You have to swap to be able to shoot. 3. All weapons (not just the heavy bolter) have a chance to "jam" after joining a game in progress. 4. Heavy plasma incinerator's aoe is bugged, and the projectile gets blocked by invisible walls that no other projectiles get blocked by. 5. Parry does not function correctly with more than one enemy attacking. Every other balanced parry weapon has a better window/effectiveness. These are the main outliers that I have discovered.
It’s definitely bugged because if your using a melta what are you going to do walk up really slowly turn on iron halo to use it. Or run up to an enemy with on an do the same thing.
theres also a bug where the fire rate version of the heavy plasma incinerator just wont increase fire rate til you swap to your secondary and back, really annoying.
Heavy Melta is dope! Wiping out entire swarms in one hit is just soo satisfying. Sadly, it's just too good & it feels so broken. I switched back to the heavy bolter... and the there is no guilt!!
IDK if the Iron Halo (no use while moving) is a bug or not. It hasn’t affected my Operation gameplay much, but PVP it makes a huge difference (and not a good one). I will eventually adapt, but I really hope it gets reverted back to pre 5.1 state.
I remapped the class ability and this is the only class it doesn't work for period lol. Standing, moving, running, heavy stance... doesn't matter won't activate for me.
2:40 Iron Halo blocks both the green orbs and the psychic screams from the thropes so just plant your feet and eliminate them.
Also blocks the beam attacks.

I've experienced the same. The parry is kinda weird since we don't have a melee weapon. Does the Heavy's parry work like a balanced weapon's parry?

I don't know how people are playing with screen shaking like that. You know you can turn it off in the settings right?
He probably doesn't mind it. I know I don't have a problem with it. Also makes stomps seem stronger and makes the guns feel heavier.
