"Sparsh is a sensational story of Anirudh Parmar (Naseeruddin Shah) who is blind. Yet his impairment does not let him down. He starts a school for the blind as a Principal. During his days he gets in touch with a social worker, Kavita. Kavita is attracted to him, and he slowly also gets attracted to her. When marriage is proposed, both agree to marry each other. Then Anirudh starts having doubts whether this marriage is going to succeed. How will Kavita ensure Anirudh that their married life would be successful?

This movie clearly shows that the actual "impairment" lies in the mind of people! Even the so-called "normal" people show such "impairments"... the "impairment" called ego, complicated thinking, feeling of self-depriciation, insecurity..! The movie gives ds strong message in such a subtle way...beautiful! Shabana ji has done a splendid job.

Nasser sab acted blind twice, in this movie he is so matured & lovable but in Mohra he acted as a villain...what a beauty what a class with Shabana Azmi its like a scent from fresh flowers
Although in the 80s this movie stands the test of time. Acting was great. Storyline good. Loved this. Not a sappy love story. It also reminded me when I read Helen Keller went to India and she got a huge welcome because brought hope and honor to be blind.

I was watching this some 8-10 years back in my PG and my Tamil friend started watching it with me. She thought Om Puri was actually a blind man in real life like some of the other actors. Incredible performances.

I have seen both scent of women and sparsh,, the only common link is that both blind men have a strong sense of self pity and inner frustration. On a personal level I liked Al Pachino more may be because his performance was more convincing,,maybe a little louder too.
I have worked with blind people and i found this a common trait amongst most of them actually all of them

पण तरीही संवाद चांगले आहेत. विचारपूर्वक अनुभवपूर्व क लिहिल्यासारखे वाटतात.
पण सिनेमाचा शेवट गुंडाळलाय त्यामुळे सिनेमा समाधान देत नाही.
चष्मेबद्दूर पेक्षा बराच बरा एवढचं म्हणता येईल. शेवटच्या वेळी मंजूची मध्यस्थी कशाला ?

समाजाने का त्यांच्यावर देणगी व त्यांच्या वस्तू विकत घेऊन खर्च करायचा?
आईवडिल करतील खर्च. त्यांनीच करावा खर्च.
अन्यथा या संस्था समाजावर भारच ठरतात.
"आनंद वन "ही स्वावलंबी संस्था स्वतःच्या पायावर उभी राहयचा सतत प्रयत्न करून उभी राहिली..
समाजाच्या कुबड्यांवर का जगायचं?

म्हणजे जगात आंधळे रहाणारच नाहीत.

अंधाचा अहंकारी स्पर्श ?? असचं जाणवतयं सिनेमा भर!
किंवा दिशा दर्शकाचा अहंकारी स्पर्श तर नव्हे?
कविता मोठी ठरतेय , हे तिच्या वागण्यावरून कधीच दाखवलं नाही. ती त्याग करतेय असं कधीच वाटलं नाही.
कविता ला नाही अनिरुद्ध पर मारला तिची गरज आहे.
स्वतःची जागा दाखवून द्यायला.
पुरुष तसाही दुबळाच, त्याला प्रत्येक टप्प्यावर स्त्रीची जरूरी लागतेच .
हे वास्तव आहे. तसेच स्त्री पैशासाठी पुरुषावर अवलंबून असते हेही खरे! पण यावर उपाय खुल्या दिलाने बोलणे, गैरसमज दूर करणे तरीही भावनेत न गुंतता स्वतंत्रता जपत स्वावलंबी जगणे.
हा संदेश हवा होता.
शेवटी पुरुषी अहंकाराचा स्पर्श पुसट होतो व दृष्टी मिळते. म्हणून स्पर्श पेक्षा "दृष्टी "नाव हवं होतं.
अभिनय मात्र सर्वांनी चांगला केलाय ही जमेची बाजू आहेच.
पार्श्वसंगीत कधी कधी छान! सरोद वादनाचा कार्यक्रम ही छान कल्पना!
سبق اچها هے که جهاں تک هو سکے انسان کو دوسروں کا محتاج نه هو کو اپنا کام از خود کرنا چاهیے ؛ مگر جناب！ انتها پسندى بهر صورت نامعقول اور غیر ممدوح امر هے ۔
Bohot badiya movie hai Naseeruddin sha ji Shabana Aazmi ji ke alawa kam time men Om Puri ji ne bhi kamal dikhaya hai mere liye is movie men ek khaas baat hai aur woh yeh ke 1983 men dekha hai aur abhi tak with director name (Sai pranjpe ji) yaad hai keyon maloom nahin (Aksar balke zeyadatar main bhool jaata hoon)

She forgets all her sorrows and finds purpose in life by being a part of blind children 's life.
Even my mother after she came home from eye surgery she went to the kitchen to prepare tea even though she was prohibited from cooking

I have a first hand experience to know the pain of visually challenged person in My university. Here , when I entered i thought how would they do their work, but when they told me that they do all their work as normal person does. AMU has seperate school upto High school for visual students. And many facilities available.
I also seen Both the lead actor Naseeruddin Shah and shahbana azmi in my college 😁.
