for those wondering about the phantom gold bases in sky shield, you can select when making the randomizer to play as the allies which gives you a gold base at their locations to account for the additional units.
I love that this lets you get things that normally can't be unlocked, like two different types of Immortal on the same mission. Just overall feels like a true adventure of the campaigns, which is so cool.
6:18 Best way to use recall ever. That'll teach those ravens xD I think basic defense like turrets, cannons, or spore should be there by default. It would be so much better to defend when you have no units unlocked 56:03 Legendary moment, he jinxed it lmao
Im so happy to be getting twitch VODs on this channel. There were a bunch of these that just didnt get uploaded thag Im really sad about. There was like... Rose's Rebalance or something like that which I missed most on stream. And there was the replay of the crew mod. And synergy's new mod. And grants VODs on twitch dont ever get highlighted so they get deleted pretty quickly. Id really like it if more of them got put on TH-cam!
@@JJJBunney001 yeah, but he's played through so many mods on stream that I haven't had time to catch the entirety of that and since they don't get uploaded here, they footage is lost to time.
I love how no one is talking about the absolute Chad of a siege tank in the center of Grants base shelling all opposition from 1:11:00 to 1:17:00 holding the line by hinself for the most part till his fellow tanks are on the production line
I *cackled* when the kill teams walked into the range of those uber-tanks. The universe has conspired to create such an absurdly powerful defensive tool
3:20 Early game Vanguard laughs at pretty much anything ground. 4:50 That would, indeed, be nice. So that pretty much guarantees that you won't get it. 6:18 Dodge of the Year right there. 7:30 Triple Immortal comp with Reaver support shreds ground targets, but attacking air is like manual breathing. Gets the job done, would prefer auto-attack. 200 damage is 200 damage though, even with the cooldown. 13:58 Some In Part 2: Overmind Simulator 35:53 Mind Control: it's only fair when you have it. 55:45 Lmao 56:05 Congrats, Grant, you guessed it! 1:10:12 And to think you didn't like the Wraith.
It would have been less stressful had Grant used the Nova when his defenses were weak, instead on waiting for Kerrigan. He was constantly struggling to keep his defenses rebuilt and repaired, yet Kerrigan died to mutas/broodlings super quickly. Even her escorts were super weak compared to if he just had actual defenses. He also was constantly broke, because he kept pulling too many workers for repairs. Activating the novas also would have given him time to actually take a breather and click the planetary fortress buttons, which he was constantly struggling to do because he was rushing from one fire to the next. But that is because he is clearly just so used to playing on Nightmare difficulty. He clearly forgot which difficulty he was playing lol.
He also lacked a lot of CRUCIAL upgrades like double repair speed, fire-suppresion systems, siege tank shaped blast, and siege tank maelstrom rounds. Those and more made it still pretty darn hard. Edit: And the vast majority of the progressive armor/weapon upgrades!
Hey grant, just saying it would be nice if we could see the mission grid every now and then between the missions to here the mission choices, tho if its too late/hard I understand
does't matter since it's a vod but the purifier mothership was doing a weird thing with it's lasers on the wraiths because you are at the utmost limit of the detection, every time a wraith shoots it stops moving but the motherships continues it's trajectory so it locks onto a wraith that's within detection range, starts the laser but due to the fact that the wraith stops to shoot it get's out of detection range which also cancels the motherships attack, if you listen closely to the sound you will hear the cloak/uncloak sound which is odd to play since it means you're hearing the audio from the mothership detecting/undetecting the wraiths but hey whatevs it's there and it gives it away 1:08:54 for whoever wants to see/hear it
For zerg i barely got at the beggining the queen and after that i think i played more than half of the missions and got the hydra, but i was getting all of the upgrades and none of the units. i got early on like void rays and carriers and for terran a lot of factory units.i really like the mod that it impletmented a lot of coop commander upgrades.
Historical note: flame throwers were known for being the most terrifying weapons used in WWII, with German soldiers surrendering in their bunkers just from knowing one was nearby.
Man, it has clearly been too long since I've played SC2. WTH is a vanguard? EDIT: I literally laughed to tears when the 'kill' teams experienced the significant emotional event (51:23) of being *sublimated* by your god-tier siege tanks. In approximately four seconds.
I know it is not really, a video for unit ideas but on All In I felt like Planetary should have ability to self repair (not regenerate) with requirement of at least one SCV inside of it. (Without benefit of improved repairs?) It can't lift of, still has place for workers, why not a bit of protection for its workers when being repaired?
Funny that raven's design has changed so much (it was so badly designed) autoturrets are dramatically different, hunter seeker and point defense drone are gone and replaced with interference matrix and anti-armored missile.
Kerrigan, for fuck sake, macro harder instead of complaining. What is that? 7 lings, 3 roaches and 3 hydras attack wave? Silver zergs build bigger army then that.
It is maddening watching you play sometimes. Like over half the time you just straight up do not need anything thats going on on the screen. Like how did you almost miss the whole bonus objective on Sky Shield, thank God your chat told you otherwise you wouldnt even have gotten it. Or the Nova mission at the end. Why were you playing like that? You rushed through so much and kept wondering why it was going that way, you sacrificed all of the starting units for no reason.

basic defenses are too good. You can't completely turret spam the mothership, but it'd do a lot of the work pretty safely and ignoring the vortex

Gotta love the end of all in, with Grant having under 50 supply of terran and around 300 of muta broodlord, 😂😂
It is extreme satisfying to see trains be beaten easily after all the trouble it's given you in other runs
never before would i have thought having such an utterly absurd amount of broodlords and mutas would still make such a stressfull mission

The fact you can enable spear of adun on other campaigns in this makes me want grant to do it again in a really op but difficult way :D
i really enjoyed the last video of this. excited that you're posting more!
Not gonna lie, seeing Grant making static defense on ramps and placing tanks on high ground gave me a semi

do you think the mod creator could find a way to make this style of campaign coop?
marines seem to be pretty bad for the garrison due to the limited exposure times.
