@ very good to know. Watched a few videos where Paint the Roses was mentioned, assumed it was not as good as these three, will look into it more, THANK YOU!
Paint The Roses is a kickstarter deduction co-op game that can be played on Tabletopia for free. I've only played it twice at 2 players and it was pretty good. Not as much meat on the bone as Planet X, but fun with simple mechanics. On your turn you place a tile and everyone places clue tokens on it if it satisfies their card. Then the group must try to guess someone's card.
I’m so glad you have this video!! Genius. Love deduction games but hate a game like awkward guests because of the crazy card system set up and tear down. I wonder where Sleuth would fit for you
Thanks man. If you mean you don’t like it when TH-camrs spend the first ten minutes making announcements, asking for patrons, and requesting likes and subscriptions, if you are saying you would like videos that jump straight into content: then I agree with you!
Great comparison! :) I love both Cryptid and SFPX (they are in my Top3) but Alchemists was a disappointment for me. Too long for too little feeling of pure deduction inside. I'm waiting for Search for Lost Species (sequel for SFPX) which is planned to be published this year.
Thank you. For me, it seems Alchemists goes on too long because the game design is intended to promote NOT trying too hard to solve the puzzle: it’s like you are encouraged to make stuff up and just be deceptive whereas in the other too games, you definitely just want to solve it. Anyway, I play Alchemists too slowly because I think I try harder than I should.
I haven’t played it. With Essen right around the corner, about to be swamped by a bunch of new games so unfortunately I don’t think I’ll get to it soon.
Code 777 is another decent deduction game. I remember using other players’ reactions to hints to discover information that I needed, which added an interesting aspect to the game.
This channel is a hidden gem! Love the content
Thank you so much!
Exact video I was looking for - perfect 👌
So glad to hear it. In the time since making this video, I think Paint the Roses has become my favorite deduction game.

Sounds awesome. Thanks for the recommendation. I will try it out.
Haven't watched it yet, but I'm here for it! Great content. Watch soon.
Great video! I have cryptid and planet X, agree with all you've said

Thank you, this has really helped me make up my mind 🙂
I’m happy to hear that! Thank you.
Zendo is one I love. It’s logical induction though instead of deduction
Great recommendation!
+1 to Zendo

Paint the Roses is a good one….and is unique as a cooperative game. Also, the Deluxe Edition has high-end, amazing components.
Yes. I didn’t have Paint the Roses at the time this video was made, but now I think it may be my favorite deduction game.
Hooky is a pretty neat little deduction game.
Any thoughts on Loot of Lima?
I haven’t played it. With Essen right around the corner, about to be swamped by a bunch of new games so unfortunately I don’t think I’ll get to it soon.
Is there any version of Alchemist board game in a tabletop rpg?
You mean a place where you can play online? You can play here for free: www.boiteajeux.net/index.php?p=regles
Not sure if it is deduction, but Unveiled Fate is a great game!
Veiled Fate. Yeah, it’s like a social deduction game. Excellent recommendation.
