I see a lot of people complain about the childish approach to the designs but to be honest is makes sense. Fazbear Entertainment is trying to avoid all the previous issues with their company and it was said multiple times that the environment and designs were what added to the problem. I hope that Ruin will unveil the other side of the experience and add more of the old vibes of the games. Plus in general I think “open world” horror games are definitely hard to make scary after seeing the original formula for the games.
Considering the original trailer for fnaf: SB looked more like this, I have a feeling something happened before release, to cause the game to be so bright. Maybe a bug? Possibly turned off due to issues?
Something was going on behind the scenes to cause it, I'm sure of it! I wouldn't be surprised if it was turned up for testing and they forgot to turn it down before release, at this point.

the flashlight was even worse in the trailer
The game had a lot of problems during development and the fans kept pushing the crew to release it (as due to the problems they had to change the release date several times) and they ended up releasing the game while still unfinished, so yeah it has a lot od bugs and stuff
@@LittleCupcakeOfMemories nobody pushed them to set 2020 release date, they've extended dev time for an entire year. it's their fault entirely

It’s always confusing why Vanessa makes those noises
I'd assume Laziness/time crunch. the fact that All the animitronics share the same noise is hint of this. look at their noises compared to any from the older games, the older ones seem to have more variety.
@khancethehunter2389 Wdym alot of animatronics have diffirent sounds some examples being parts and service freddy, endo, dj music man, vanny, all decommissioned animatronics, and staff bots. I see your point about the jumpscare tho my theory is that Gregory is screaming but its just a theroy.

You should do a side by side comparison, the fact that just removing the bright light from the jumpscare makes it look so much better is astonishing
Yeah the lighting looks so much better now with this mod, I hope that steel wool makes an actual patch that fixes the lighting on the jumpscares
The moon jumpscare got 10x more scary with this lightning and all the jumpscare’s just in general

That's not the only reason. The jumpscares are always expected, and the game doesn't fit in with the fnaf franchise in terms of design and genre. The game's just not scary in general

4:03 if you listen you can hear the nightmare/nightmarionne jumpscare noise which is interesting givin the alpha staff bots look a ton like nightmarionne and he is quote “the fearful reflection of what you have created” in ucn where this is said it’s William who here’s this and William killed Charlie who would become puppet final note there are nightmarionne plushies scattered everywhere in the mega pizza plex in the roof behind and on top of boxes in the Monty teacup ride basically everywhere leading many myself included to believe the puppet is back for one last time
fun fact it’s been confirmed that not only the puppet will be in the fnaf movie be will also be voiced by the same person who voices jack skeleington from nightmare before Christmas

I’m sorry, as a fnaf veteran who grew up with all the games…this game is the least scary and the worst in terms of the canon story. I’m not even counting fnaf world since that game is an abomination and not even canon. Fnaf used to be scary with a terrifying and sad storyline about children in the 80s. Now? It’s all about appeasing gen z and it completely takes away the enjoyment of fnaf

Im also an og fnaf veteran who also grew up with all games but, even though security breach isn’t scary, they can always update with some more scary features but if you look further into detail. This place takes more into the future with more friendly looking animatronics luring children with controlled matter. This is called pizzaplex for a reason at anyhow, I wouldn’t say this is Gen z just doesn’t have the same exact horror as fnaf 4: which is the scariest game. I think the issue is that this doesn’t have more dark lore and dark place as the night goes on. But atleast glamrock Freddy has one of the scariest and coolest jump scares when we are upgrading and fixing him, if this game had darker colors in jumpscare scenes. Maybe they should make a code where the jumpscares have different movement and different jumpscare sounds. All these characters have potential, if they listen to their fans and not having Sony screw up the game sometimes. I hope steel wool makes a bigger role for vanny and give her an ACTUAL boss fight, they should give her a knife too but because of Sony they can’t add any “violent weapon” which sucks about making games because any company you try to make a game in would try and do a great job to screw you over. They need to give burntrap more screen time in the afton ending to add more love and passion and a longer cutscene.
